parley view parsnip... Hayao Miyazaki clouds

Today is the last movie in the month long Hayao Miyazaki Retrospective,
Howl's Moving Castle.
I always thought Tucson had very Hayao Miyazaki clouds, so here are some clouds
from around 5:45pm on Sunday.

Castles In The Sky

    1. Thank You !
I thought of making them larger but I wanted to show a progression of the clouds, when they post bigger I wasn't sure I would have the room.
Sometimes when I have fewer photo I do post larger.

    1. I just saw Howl's Moving Castle on the big screen last night and that movie has a huge amount of cloud so much of them based on the war that is raging.

  4. I surprised more movies aren't made in Arizona. It's very cinematic.

    1. Lots of movies where made here but mostly westerns. One of the Transformers #2 I think ? had a part filmed here.
I don't know why the weather is usually so great the sky so big and the clouds so beautiful. I think it must be the very liberal movie people not liking the conservative governor ?
When I grew up here all the big mobsters lived here. We all knew where they were and they were very quiet you would think Hollywood would just fit right in.

    1. Look up Hayo Miyazaki movies and watch one. Always a strong female character who solves the problem. Surround by the most beautiful senery and clouds. They are Castles In The Sky.

  9. Those are looking awesome. Good cloud days are few and far between in humid or smoggy Osaka. The sky is mostly a dull white. Maybe it's time for me to set you up with a live webcam of the sky above your house for 24 hour access to pretty.
