Spokesperson thehamish has annonced that 

nice tall person who feed them  is now running for...

President of the United States.

 Her only platform is no more 31/2 year long primaries leading up to the Election.

A quick election based on the Japanese form of government. 

A month of yelling and screaming and then it is over.

thehamish has predicted a landslide.

 Here is thehamish little broken tail.

It has a huge kink in it and a big bump where it attaches to his sparkling body.

He doesn't really hold it up a lot only when he is chasing lizards.

I would only have to look at Watson and thump thump his tail would start wagging.

But like all Scotties thehamish has the greatest smile.

Wednesday in Japan and other places

 thehamish has an appointment for his herbal body wrap, 

and lunch out for me.

He rarely holds it up like a Scotty unless he is chasing something.

Son was on a small train trip and ended up in Nagoya the same day 10 years apart.

How fun is that.

Playing Monday catch-up.

The last two weeks have gotten away from me, I didn't even post last week at all.

You know when you have "that" day that when everything that can go wrong does ?

Well that has been my default setting for this month. It can only get better
I hope !

thehamish is Ok kind of, I take him in for repeat tests this week.

Then we will have a better idea of what is going on.
He is my 6 million Dollar Man.

I adore this plant the color and the teeny tiny pink blooms, so beautiful.

plus since it get more direct sun it has turned more magenta.

I don't bake much anymore, Daughter and Son are so much better at it.
I tried to make some gingerbread cookies, hahahahahahahahahah.
I add some ancho chili to my batter. It doesn't make the cookie hot
but adds to the spicy flavor.

One of them is not like the other. Can you find thehamish ?

As I was making the cookies I was washing up as I go.  I had some dried items already and
 had started to lay them aside so I could put them away and start washing more dishes.
I looked at this mess and thought it was a modern take on the still lifes of the
Old Masters. Flowers, grapes, apples, oranges and possible a dead pheasant or fish on a table.
No dead birds or fish on mine but some other stuff.
My mind works is weird ways.

I like taking photos of whatever is on a table or desk. No fluffing up,
just the detritus of everyday living.
  For years I would just put the camera on table and take a photo blind.
It was super interesting and fun.

Here we are back to friday already ?

I lost a whole week, I don't know where it went.

thehamish is back at the vets today for more tests.

He and I are not happy about this. 

It has been a tough three weeks with more to come.

Monday is here, so much to do and so little time.

First 

My comments on the New Star War movie.

.

I really can not write anything that hasn't been said already.

But my take away from the movie is, "The Whiny" is as strong as 

"The Force" in the male branch of the Darth Varder clan. 

The women of this family seem to be strong in "The Force" but also common sense !

Anakin was nothing more than a whiny, violent, bully, brat with self control issues. 

Luke was a whiny self centered teen who grew up somewhat 

but lacked again the common sense. 

Then comes Kylo Ren who has the cool outfit but can't control 

"The Force" and is a throwback to the whiny out of control Anakin.

Yikes !

It is like the story of the Three Wise Women that has been floating around.

If the Three Wise Men were Women, 

They would have asked for directions, 

gotten to the stable on time, 

helped with the birth

cleaned up the sable

feed the animals

made dinner with leftovers for later

and have been gone before the "Three Wise Men got there !

.

But really loved the movie it was terrific. Can not wait to see it again.

We have a nice balance of old and new characters, that help the story line along.

Second.

Tucson is now in our winter weather. 

The temps are about ten degrees difference from where we should be but all in all rather nice. 

Rain and snow for a few days then sunny blue sky with 

fluffy clouds. Then we start all over again.
