I had several Creches, Angels and Churches that were destroyed (along with my home)
in the Laguna Beach Wildfire. A few made it through the fire. We dug them out from the rubble
and grit. One of my favorite is a small Mary with Baby and three Angels.
It is so small and beautiful you can hold it in your hand and be amazed.
Glazed with blue and grey with very simple shapes I have had this one for about 40 + years.
They now sit in my entry way along with another that somehow made it through the fire.
.
This is one treasure that means Christmas for me.
.
Along with some sweethearts !
My Wild Douglas Fir is so beautiful that I only put a few super tiny white lights on it.
That is all the tree and I need.

Japanese Son has played Santa for many years. He first started at a Mall
and they loved him as he spoke Japanese and English !
He now is Santa for the Kindergarten that is connected
to the University he teaches at.
The new Principle for the Kindergarten had never seen him as Santa.
Son is head of the International Studies and deals with University students.
He was so surprised as all the little one were, that Santa only spoke English till the
very end when he spoke Japanese. I love him he is a hoot !
