thehamish is very ill.
Called the doctor and we can not get in till the 6th.
Like any Mum, I will take care of him and if he gets worst I will take him to hospital
that he has had several operations at already.  They have his very thick file.
They also remember him because Scotties are very rare in Tucson.

Monday stuff with gud dug and cats

Weekend stuff around Tucson.

 We planted winter grass.
Somehow I lost the before photo of grass cut down to the roots, raked and rather brown
and then covered in seed and fertilizer.

 But zap it just came up fast. We have to wait a fer weeks for the grass to get stronger
for a cut and trim.

 I am working in the studio a lot thehamish has gotten a few new
toys to help keep him busy. He has destroyed the Hedgehog squeaky already.
 So I will wash Hedgehog put a new squeaky in and put it away
to bring out another day.

Wednesday in Imperialistic Cat Land.

Just another day on the range with gud dud herding cats and javelinas. 

I have written before that Son who lives with me is a volunteer at the Humane Society.

He loves cats and works with them getting them ready for adoption.

He has fallen in love with several of the cats but after all this time has opened

his heart to two overlooked bonded 11 year old black cats.

The adoption was finalized just before the HSSA Newsletter came out for Fall.

We have stars living with us now.

Merida is on the left and Oliver on the right.

Well here it is another Monday following an non-action packed weekend of

gud dugs, imperialistic cats and some other stuff.

Remember the new window that replaced Watson's smaller window ?
thehamish is using it now.
I heard thehamish gurrrrrrin' very low and see him looking out the window.

When I look out my window, above his, there was a herd of Javelinas walking
through the citrus grove.
Since we have had so much monsoon rain this summer they are fat and happy so just
stopped long enough for a quick drink and kept on moseyin'

Look at the top right and you will see a javelina drinking at one of the ponds.

Son took this great photo of Oliver sitting in the screens, as cats will do.

Yes, he has named kitty boy Oliver Winston. Kitty Girl stays Merida.

Even though Winston was my first pick and then we came up with Oliver,

which is an easier name and sounds happy. 

Plus like Frances said it has three syllables and I also like that sound.
