What a crazy summer !

                                              

             We broke another record, not one I would wish for..... we just smacked down any old record                     summer heat. It has been 102 to 105 the last few weeks,

.Not super happy with the color of these Lychee.  More red less brown.

 These might be too old (?) I will be checking them tomorrow.

I had a Lychee Tree in my Laguna Beach yard along with a Persimmon tree.

I miss that yard.

Yes it is hot.

Moved the cactus that was planted in pots into shaded areas with more water.

They have put on growth spurts and several have bloomed.
 .

They are getting some morning and evening sun.

I need to setup an appointment with my Garden Doctor to talk about the fruit trees and cactus.

.

 Pack rat damage on the top set-up the pups to grow. I have never seen this before so it is very interesting.

Figs are at the market now !
