parley view parsnip

parley view parsnip, originally uploaded by angryparsnip.

My Monday post about what is going on around my home.

What a super hard life ! napping in the sunlight, in an air-
conditioned home in the desert !

The sunlight is from the skylight in the entry way by the front door.
Watson was just back from his Herbal Body Wrap Treatment as we like to
call a visit to the groomers.

Oh, to live my dogs life !

  1. Hello:
This is, we feel, pure luxury. Light and warmth, a well groomed coat, and not a care in the world. Or so it would appear. It is indeed 'spa parsnip'!!

  2. I just want to pick that dog up and pet him.

  3. I just want to be that dog.

  4. Some dogs have better lives than others. Your dogs are princes and they might not even know it. Very cool.

  5. Jane and Lance...
Yes, it must feel very luxurious to lay in the sun on a cool tile floor. Lucky little boy.

Watson would love it, he is very social and he adores men !

I keep saying to my friends... when I die I want to come back as my dogs ! They have got it really good.

He is a California Dog .... we just don't go to the groomers, we call it Herbal Body Wraps... The staff loves it !
His groomers work at Sabino Pet Resort and they have a doggie treat bone shaped pool for the dogs to play in if they want when they are boarded.
    What a life...

We just found out that Hamish, not the dog in the photo, is diabetic so I have to make sure he eats at the correct time the correct amount of food so I can give him his insulin shots twice a day. His operation had to be postponed so we could get him stable. It has been two months of twice weekly visits to the vet to try and regulate his levels...
They are both very special !

  6. He manages to convey the manner of a poor dog, hard done by - having to find the one warm spot in the house. He deserves an Oscar:)

  7. Looks like Watson is in the spotlight playing a dramatic role...hilarious!

  8. Pat...
An Oscar would be just about right.

He is very theatrical, when I lived in California I should have tried to put him movies.
