Square Dog Friday, everyday stuff

Square Dog Friday.
Best day of the week is here. So lets woof !
.

The Agatha In The High Castle.

To escape from iwinston, Agatha has dug a foxhole up the rocky hill under a bush.

She digs in, makes plans and then pops out barks at iwinston, then charges.
He stays at the bottom and barks up at her.
So much fun !

Agatha and iwinston on patrol. The grass has a summer fertilizer on it
and until it dissolves I don't want the gud dugs walking or rolling on it.

 Agatha on patrol.

 Action shot.

 Surveillance !

Agatha is always looking to see where I am, my little shadow.
Even when she is supposed to be on Patrol.

iwinston sitting in his office keeping an eye on what is going on.

 Always watching !

This is a photo through the screen door, so it is very blurry.
Agatha take her Security Job seriously !
This reminds me of "Countryside Tales" gud dug Poppy who loves to stand in pots
and watch what is going on over her fence.

.
Still growing.

 More Prickly Pear blooms.

 I love these blooms.

...............................

As always here is your pretty for the weekend.

Some of my Cactus art.

  1. What fun for Agatha to be queen of her wee castle/fox hole. That Century plant absolutely amazes me. I'm looking for a nice photo to send to John of a 'cozy corner' in my house. Have you done so yet? You have such a beautiful home with lots of beautiful nooks, it must be hard to choose! Wishing you a wonderful weekend Gayle! X

    1. Thank You about my home but it is just home to me. I haven't sent a photo yet as I have been fighting with comcast and my computer. I am amazed this is working today.
Out most of the day with appoitments but I hope to take a photo today. It will be my studio and where I sit with my computer looking out my big window. I get to see the gud dugs and wildlife at the ponds. I love it.
I am sure you have a wonderful comfy cozy spot that you can just sit and enjoy. Especially on cold snowy day when your inside.

  2. Hi, Gayle!

Looks like Agatha is firmly entrenched on the high ground in her imaginary battle with Winston. So cute! I'm glad you are keeping your gud dugs away from the harmful lawn chemicals. Maybe that "beanstalk" will keep growing all the way up to a land in the sky where a giant lives in a castle. :) I very much admire that piece of artwork at the end of your post, the Prickly Pear card!

Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend Gayle!

    1. The gardner knows I only use animal safe products on my land. Plus I can't breath in anything so he uses only safe stuff for all the wild critters, the gud dugs and me.

  8. More gloriosity! When one of my nephews was 6 (he's now 42), he learned a bit about human reproduction and fertilization. And he couldn't understand that if Dad fertilizing an egg and that's how you get babies, why was it that "... when Dad fertilizes the lawn, we can't even play on it!"

    1. They are a hoot. After Watson and Hamish died I said I wouldn't adopt anymore dogs. Health reasons. But I couldn't stand not having any gud dugs. Winston is so like my first Scotty Kirby so stubborn and Agatha is learning how not to live with 18 other dogs. She came from a hoarder so at 4 years old she is learning her manners.

  13. I love that you care enough, and are smart enough, to keep the pups off the lawn fertilizer. xxx

Everything looking good, sending virtual gentle scratches behind the ear to both your babes.

    1. I am very careful with any products I use. I only use the very non toxic products to wildlife , I never use spray.
They like ear scratches best and tummy rubs sometimes.
I am looking at another rescue dog that could be one of Agatha's puppies. . . maybe ? I have a call in. Since Truffles died I have a space open.

    1. Mostly it is Winston who hides and waits for Agatha to get close, then the ambush.
