Monday catch up.

Last year daughter and flatmates came down to Tucson for some
New Year warm weather with no snow and to celebrate my Birthday.
Stephanie drew thehamish for me.

After thehamish died one day this came in the mail.

Stephanie never saw Watson except in photos and yet this looks just like him.
This looks so much like both of them.
She is a wonderful artist.

As always here is your pretty (maybe)  to start the week.

I have no words !

cheers,  parsnip

  1. Wonderfully done. It certainly does evoke Hamish.

I think Winston wants belly rubs.

  2. Hi, Gayle!

That is very touching, dear friend. Your daughter is indeed a fine artist. She immortalized Watson and thehamish in these wonderful drawings. Framing your square dogs with native prickly pear pads is inspired.

Looks like Winston is begging for attention. When our Toto assumed that position we always quipped that she was "open for business," meaning she wanted to be petted and scratched.

Have a safe and happy week, dear friend Gayle!

  3. Gayle, I love the drawings. How kind of your daughter's friend. I think our dogs are a measure of our lives. My truest joy in life. I did get your note today. I was looking for an email, not the real thing. Love the card and sentiments. Plus, what a beautiful script you have. Have you ever had it analyzed? Would love to hear about that.
