Square Dog Friday... Toy review # 7

Square Dog Friday !
Best day of the week.
You know the drill so lets woof it !

Carrots from "La Tarjey"

Aren't they lovely ?

I, Watson rather like this charming color combanation of lime green
and aqua blue.

..............................................
Watson's review

This was a very exciting visual toy.
Great colors, good squeaky in carrot part with crackly leaves.

chew..... nice chew factor and nice mouth feel.
But, the soft material and stitchingwas not strong enough for the jaws of
The Two Square Dogs.
squeak.....  not very loud but a good strong squeak.
 design..... very nice design.

This toy was designed and aimed at the nice tall person who feeds us.
It did not last longer than 5 nano seconds before it started to rip apart when thehamish
and I was playing tug.

This toy would be good for a one dog family only. Not a very good tug toy.
I give it a 5 out of 10

  1. Love Square Dog Friday!

How long did the toy survive?

    1. I somehow deleted the after photo !
The aqua one is still intact but the orange on is in pieces all over the floor ! I let them pull out the stuffing and fluff it everywhere, they have so much fun ripping into it. They want the squeaky (heart?) to eat ? but I do take it away so they don't ingest the plastic.

  2. Cute toy reviews by the square ones! I do love the colors, too bad the carrots couldn't take much tugging...

    1. They are made for you to buy because they are so cute and gud dugs to destroy so you buy more.

  3. The more I see of your dogs, the more I want a Scottish terrier. Something about them tugs at my heart. (More gently than they did with that toy, though.)

  4. Those are cute carrots but I really appreciate the review. We need industrial toys. The type that garner wonderful chikn' strip reviews!

    1. No sewn toy really last but it gives dogs the fun of ripping and shredding. Soft rubbery (?) squishie toys last but the best but not as much cute.
The best "toy" is one they review in September 2011. The ball is covered in a felt like material and was great to toss and tug. I always look at la tarjey for them.

    1. Sometimes they will play on their own but I really have to start the "two Play" one toy

  11. Good to see the boys having fun!
Sorry the toy did not last long.
Buster is a great destroyer of all toys and the place is littered with
    dead skins.....
    Happy Mother's Day, Parsnip!

  12. We have the pink carrot from Tarjey! It seems the toy is *much* more popular with the gud dugs than it is with our kitten. She was not at all interested ...

p, when you have a chance, I gave you an award over at the Coffee. http://subliminalcoffee.blogspot.com/2013/05/i-scream-social.html
