Bunny # 2

Bunny # 2, originally uploaded by angryparsnip.

It has been so hot in Tucson. The monsoons have not been very strong
this summer. . . not enough rain. This week the temps have been
hovering around 105 .

All the critters have been searching out the cool places. This very
young and well camouflaged Jack Rabbit comes and rests in the hot part
of the day where my drip watering system is. This view is from my
floor to ceiling bathroom window out on my south-west side-yard.
There was a little Cactus Wren also in the shade but flew away when I
tried to sneak in for the picture.

Hot. . . parsnip
Music. . . The Sheltering Sky. . . Ryuichi Sakamoto

  1. I see a bunny! :D what a cutie!

  2. It was his eye that helped me to spot him - he's very well camouflaged.

  3. He should come and live with me, it's so cool here I am having to wear two sweaters already, in the house.

  4. Molly. . .
Hamish also saw a bunny! he sits and stares out that window till one comes by and shivers with excitement when he sees one. There is lots of gurrring and arfffing going on.

    PI. . .
He is hiding well sometimes I miss them at first.

    Eryl. . .
    I can't believe you. . . two sweaters !
It is cooling off here mid to high 90's and because of Hurricane Jimena will change into a storm, we have a good chance of more rain! Yea!
