I'll never forget. I remember every minute of that day as if it happened yesterday. I remember the first time I had dinner at Windows on the World. I still have the menu my agent swiped for me for research.
It is important that we do remember too. I visited the site of 9/11 shortly after it had been completely cleared but before anything was built. It was a very moving occasion.
Me too! We were in England and couldn't believe what we were seeing and hearing. I thought it would bring us together and make us a better country--it didn't. But I'll never forget.
Honestly, and in so many ways, it feels like it was yesterday. Will never, never forget. Such a beautiful monument. Planning on visiting sometime this fall. X

ReplyDeleteVery sad. So many innocent lives.
ReplyDeleteA fitting monument to my old friend Kirstin, amongst all the others. RIP.
ReplyDeleteNone of us can ever forget.
ReplyDeleteWow, time goes fast. I still remember, as well.
ReplyDeleteHow could one ever forget the awful images on that awful day?
