  1. Happy art indeed Gayle - and a happy smiling Winston in every photograph. He has settled in so well. What a lucky dog he is (and how lucky you are to have him).

    1. I don't want to have them be dependent on me for the food. Some days I am just not able to take care of them. But they are just wonderful to see.

  4. Hi, Gayle!

Your granddaughter exhibits artistic ability. I appreciate the composition. Her drawing really is happy art. I'm sorry to learn that the heat is on in your region. It is nice of you to keep the watering hole well stocked for thirsty birds. I am happy to see pictures of katties Merida and Oliver. They're pretty! I'm sorry to learn they're still not linkin' Winston. Winston looks happy and healthy and that makes me smile.

Stay cool and have a safe and happy weekend, dear friend Gayle!

    1. I really love the composition also I would really like to hear what she has to say about what she drew.
Katties are katties and poor Winston just has to watch them.
Much too early for this kind of heat.

  5. Winston is such a cute and happy dug! Love seeing him having fun :-) Love Mia-chan’s art, too!
The photo of hummingbird is amazing. They are so elusive that I have never been able to capture them on camera! Lucky them to have refreshing water to have on hot summer days :-)

    1. Son does not overfeed them but she is like a balloon with for tiny legs. Her fur is like velvet so soft. Olivers is soft but not like hers. She is a tea cosy.

    1. We have Black-chinned, Rufous, Broad-billed, Broad Tailed and Anna's Hummingbirds.
Our Anna's are Ruby throated. We have many more but these are the ones we see the most. I love them but do not feed them.
