Hi, Gayle!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great image of thehamish and Winston quenching their thirst at the watering hole. I don't envy you and your black square dog now that the heat is on. Here in Florida we have been running the air conditioning day and night for weeks, even though our temps, in the mid to upper 80s, would seem refreshingly cool to you there in the desert.
I love that dramatic watercolor sky, Gayle! I wish you and your gud dug and catties a safe and happy week, dear friend!
We have the air on also. I could not live here without it.
DeleteWhat a lovely picture of Hamish and Winston by the pool Gayle - it makes me so sad to see them together though. It is the downside of owning a dog isn't it?
ReplyDeleteLove that splendid sky.
I have be rather ill for two weeks with the wind blowing and my Valley Fever acting up. I seem to be thinking of and missing thehamish so much. I love this photo but it makes me cry.
DeleteI keep thinking that thehamish would help baby iwinston learn just like the way Watson helped him.
So cute, little buddies and beautiful skies.
ReplyDeleteWhen iwinston was being a jerk they were very sweet together.
DeleteAh, baby WInston, so cute. It's cold here, in the 50's, the pool is not open.
ReplyDeleteI have to exercise and now this is the best way for me.
DeleteHamish and Winston... such a cute pair!
ReplyDeleteWe still had stray snowflakes falling this morning.
I miss my Scotties
Delete"Cold spell" of 70.... oh my.... you should try England right now. Yesterday we wished we'd had scarves and gloves! It does seem as if winter doesn't want to let go of us.
ReplyDeleteSummer is to soon, we already have wildfires and not enough rain. Oh My
DeleteI am envious of your pool and even your temps in the 90, tho admittedly that is pretty hot. Still, I'll take hot over cold, especially if there's a pool nearby to cool off in!
ReplyDeleteDaughter still has snow plus it is still falling where she lives.
DeleteTemps are to warm, hot for April.
Such a sweet picture of Winston and Hamish! And your temperatures are unbelievable...I thought WE had it bad in SC but I see know that it could be so much worse! We're still in light jackets at night.
ReplyDeleteWow, 98F already! Around here, it's in 40s in the morning. Seems to go up to 70s today :-) I love the photo of thehamish and baby Winston. What a sweet memory! Reflection of sky on the water is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely photos these are, Parsnip, the first one especially is an image to treasure.
ReplyDeleteI'm envious that you have heat and a pool as it is STILL cold and wet here in Blighty. (Although I don't know whether I could cope well with such a high temperature as yours.)
I'm sorry to read that you've not been too well just lately and hope that you will soon be feeling much better.
What gorgeous pool pics. If I lived in such a hot place I think I'd be camped out in the pool most all the time. What can I say? I'm a wimpy northerner. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'd forgotten how small he was! The pool looks lovely in the light x
ReplyDeleteThe picture by the pool is beyond cute.
