........
As always here is your pretty for the weekend
My new succulent, Echeveria, Black Knight.
Love this plant, a rosette of blackish purple thick leaves hides a bright center of lime green.
Late summer to fall, a slender stem has bright coral red flowers.
I took this photo right after I watered it, so there are water droplets inside.
I like it because it looks like little crystals.
I finally found the plant for it Sedum Firestorm. So pretty.
cheers, parsnip
....
Looks like you arrived just in time before iwinston could get down to some real serious 'shredding'. :-) Your plants are lovely...nice pots!
ReplyDeleteHe has a million toys (BarkBox) and yet the likes the "others"
DeleteIt is still snowing where Daughter lives !
"If you're going through a roll of toilet tissue... keep going."

"Winston, please don't squeeze the Charmin... and don't chew it, either!"
- Mr. Whipple
Hi, Gayle!
That naughty boy is at it again. The picture you indicated is your favorite is my favorite, too. It's suitable for framing! I used to have various types of Echeveria in my collection of cacti and succulents. Your containerized specimens look marvelous and they are exactly the right scale for those planters.
Have a great weekend, dear friend Gayle!
He is so naughty ! but I lurve him.
DeleteHe is going to a puppy play group on Sunday to help his manners.
Love his pictures, should have known he'd find something inappropriate to chew. I always overwater my succulents and kill them.
ReplyDeleteI am just the opposite. I use to have lots of orchids for many years, now I am on a succulent kick and like them but have no place to put them. I forget to water them which is good. They need to go dry.
DeleteThe moral here seems to be that when Winston is out of sight and quiet then
ReplyDeletetrouble is brewing!
Just like a child, when quiet you know your in trouble.
Delete"too quiet" is not a good thing with doggies!
ReplyDeleteGud duggies or little children
DeleteI have Bella and Ollie (8 and 10) for five days so as you can imagine, it's bad, bad and more bad.
ReplyDeleteAre you OK I keep seeing reports about the fire that is burning where you live.
DeleteWe have a growing wildfire north/east of us by Alpine. We are dry and high winds.40 to 60 mph driving me crazy these last two days.
Hope you and your family are safe
Oh! I always think it's a matter of time before pups get the toilet paper! :D Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteMy Scotties really did not care about it. I had several rolls as I was cleaning and forgot I dropped this one.
DeleteWhen it's quiet around here it means one of us has fallen asleep! ;) I love his pics, he's so sweet! I didn't bring my succulents in when we had that surprise snow storm and they died! I need to give them another go soon. xoxo
ReplyDeleteFalling asleep is my normal.
DeleteLOL Winston found a fun chew toy! “Too quiet” is the sign for potential trouble here, too :-)
ReplyDeleteYour succulent plants are beautiful. And I love the Inoshishi pot! So cute!
quiet is nice but....... trouble !
DeleteWhat is so dang attractive about toilet paper that leads a gud dog astray?! LOL
ReplyDeleteSo soft so much fun !
DeleteWell, as it looks like Winston's teeth only made it though the outer layers, that roll of toilet paper MIGHT be salvageable, but I wouldn't blame you if you just threw the whole thing out.
ReplyDeleteSo round, soft and chewy...
DeleteIvy sent me over here, you do like Scotty dogs! I had done an art piece she thought you would love. http://cmlk79.blogspot.ca/2018/04/scribble-picnic-pyjamas.html

ReplyDeleteI could find this one but I saw some of your other pieces.
DeleteLove your pretties.
ReplyDeleteThey are just very pretty.
