better known as iwinston.

...

said ohno whats' you be doin' iwinston was just likin' soft squishi chew toy

really gud squishi chew toy
if it is on the floor it is iwinston toy

........

As always here is your pretty for the weekend

My new succulent, Echeveria, Black Knight.

Love this plant, a rosette of blackish purple thick leaves hides a bright center of lime green.
Late summer to fall, a slender stem has bright coral red flowers.
I took this photo right after I watered it, so there are water droplets inside.
I like it because it looks like little crystals.

I have had this super sweet Inoshishi that Japanese Family gave me many years ago.
I finally found the plant for it Sedum Firestorm. So pretty.

cheers,  parsnip

    Hi, Gayle!

That naughty boy is at it again. The picture you indicated is your favorite is my favorite, too. It's suitable for framing! I used to have various types of Echeveria in my collection of cacti and succulents. Your containerized specimens look marvelous and they are exactly the right scale for those planters.

Have a great weekend, dear friend Gayle!

  3. Love his pictures, should have known he'd find something inappropriate to chew. I always overwater my succulents and kill them.

    1. I am just the opposite. I use to have lots of orchids for many years, now I am on a succulent kick and like them but have no place to put them. I forget to water them which is good. They need to go dry.

  4. The moral here seems to be that when Winston is out of sight and quiet then
    trouble is brewing!

    1. Are you OK I keep seeing reports about the fire that is burning where you live.
We have a growing wildfire north/east of us by Alpine. We are dry and high winds.40 to 60 mph driving me crazy these last two days.
Hope you and your family are safe

    1. My Scotties really did not care about it. I had several rolls as I was cleaning and forgot I dropped this one.

  8. When it's quiet around here it means one of us has fallen asleep! ;) I love his pics, he's so sweet! I didn't bring my succulents in when we had that surprise snow storm and they died! I need to give them another go soon. xoxo

  9. LOL Winston found a fun chew toy! “Too quiet” is the sign for potential trouble here, too :-)
Your succulent plants are beautiful. And I love the Inoshishi pot! So cute!

  10. What is so dang attractive about toilet paper that leads a gud dog astray?! LOL

  11. Well, as it looks like Winston's teeth only made it though the outer layers, that roll of toilet paper MIGHT be salvageable, but I wouldn't blame you if you just threw the whole thing out.
