Here is your pretty to start the week.
If you have followed my blog you know how much I enjoy reflections.
I would like to paint the first or last optical illusion.
So interesting.
cheers, parsnip
Is that a rosemary bush in the first picture? It's so pretty! I've had rosemary plants before but they never, ever flowered for me.
ReplyDeleteYour reflection pictures are so beautiful! And those two gud dugs are beautiful, too!
The purple a Texas Sage. Texas Ranger, Silver Cloud. Green or silver leafed plant with Deep purple to light pink blooms. Good for growing in the desert. When the monsoons come the plants bloom like crazy.
DeleteLove the purple and, clearly, puppy does too.
ReplyDeleteA good reminder of how tiring puppies are....how easy it is to forget.
I am so tired !
DeleteBut he is worth it if I don't die first.
Ham is tolerating baby. Has he had to put him in his place yet? Bet you are enjoying watching them interact.
ReplyDeleteHe has tried and really growls at him. Nipped him twice but mandibles just comes back for more.
DeleteHamish is always checking us out to be sure it is OK and I am saying get him hamish !
But he is almost completely deaf and has very little sight left.
I love the way little Fergus seems to stay with Hamish all the time and also how Hamish has obviously accepted him.
ReplyDeleteHe is not super happy with the puppy biting and chewing him. but as all terriers he is very tenacious and just keeps attacking him. I wish thehamish would hold him down by the neck and give him a good gurrr.
ReplyDeletePlus I am too old (no knees) to have a piddling puppy. I have enjoyed getting up early to see the sunrise but not the 3 am potty run.
cheers, parsnip
Your sage bush is beautiful. That puppy just gets cuter. Loving thehamish moving in to the crate!
ReplyDeleteWe have a bit of jealousy going on here.
DeletePlease, thehamish, don't let themandibles fall in the pool. I can see that he looks up to you. It's good of you to prepare the crate for him.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Things would be so much better if he didn't attack thehamish all the time with the mandibles.
DeleteOh God he's cute. Add him to the Hamish a d it's an overload. Be interesting to see what you do with the reflections.
ReplyDeleteThey make puppies cute so we forget how bad they are.
DeleteFerguson! What a perfect name for a sweet little scottie. Hugs to the mandibles.
ReplyDeleteI am getting use to Fergus but I still love George.
DeleteFerguson! What a perfect name for a sweet little scottie. Hugs to the mandibles.
ReplyDeleteFergus does seem quite attached to Hamish!
ReplyDeleteHe follows him everywhere and does what he does. It is very sweet and darling. If it wasn't for the mandibles we would be great,
DeleteThat puppy seems to have grown in just the short time you have had him. Poor Hamish. Puppies have such sharp little teeth. The crate is a brilliant idea. How are the cats coping with their new house mate?
ReplyDeleteI know he had grown so much. I miss the little wee handful I brought home.
DeleteThe teeth have to go Now.
My studio is next to the kitchen that has folding glass doors. So the cats are on one side most of the day with most of the house to roam around. There is a gate to jump over for them to get into the kitchen. A big NO to fergus.
Parsnip, it's been a great treat to finally give myself the opportunity to visit with you, hamish and fergus. This post is funny and beautiful, and makes me wish I could look at all your recent posts right this minute. I do promise to return for that pleasure very soon. xo
ReplyDeleteAwwww he is a cutie that you might enjoy looking at plus some storm photos.
DeleteIt has been 15 years since my last puppie you forget the little messes !

How are your cats getting along with the new arrival?
ReplyDeleteThey are staying far away. fergus thinks they are his litter mates so he wants to play. He has chased Oliver once and that cat can move !
DeleteWow, the sage petals are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE seeing thehamish and themandibles together :-) They look like getting along well with each other.
Beautiful reflection of the sky!
They get along terrific until fergus starts to use is teeth in play.
Deletethehamish is jealous of him and wants whatever he gets.
Great post, loved all the photos especially of themandibles :)
ReplyDeleteI forgot how bad the puppy teeth are !
DeleteYour new fella is awfully cute.
ReplyDeleteHe is cute and that is the only reason he is not dead. The puppy teeth are awful.
DeleteHamish and his new friend look so cute together! I love all of your pictures, especially the little pup on the purple flowers and Hamish in the new crate and all the reflections. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are really adorable together, like thehamish & Watson. With all the health conditions, thehamish does look very happy. He is such a gud dug and I wanna give him big hugs!
