  1. They are so lovely together. We've often talked about finding a companion, but we're away too much to be fair to one. Your photos are always such a treat! xox

    1. thehamish was to be my last gud dug. His doctors say he has about 3ish months to live.
After Watson die we looked for a friend for him (Friday's blog) and waited to long for this puppy.
But I have to say thehamish has perked up since the monster has come. Before that he was laying around a lot wrapped in his illness.
I do not travel any more, very housebound so I am here. But I am still not sure if this was a great idea but he has made us all laugh at what he does, even thehamish.

  2. Oh my...now I have puppy fever. I know thePip would love a new friend but gosh, I'm not sure I'm quite ready for the mandibles and the puddles! They are adorable together. That photo of them at the pool tweaked my heart. X Ps: When will his ears "pop" up?

    1. I really didn't want a puppy but it was hard to find the right friend.
thehamish is pretty gud with him... and warns him off often which I think is really good for themanadinles.
His ears will pop up as his bones get stronger the vet said. So anytime soon. Maybe starting at 10 weeks.

  3. Gay;e I am sure you have done the right thing. When the Hamish goes - as you have obviously been told he will - you would have been bereft. Now you will keep going for the sake of this adorable puppy and will soon begin to think of Hamish as you now think of Watson. And Hamish seems to have accepted him = dogs know more tham we credit them with sometimes. Hugs to you all.

    1. He is a lot of fun but the teeth have to go,
I thought about all the reasons you said. I have rarely lived without a dog and it would be very sad not to have one.
Even though all my children have other types of gud dugs and cats they say I have spoiled them by having Scotties. They are grand gud dugs !

  4. Hi, Gayle!

I love the pictures of your new pup themandables along with the one of he and thehamish at the "watering hole." Seems thehamish has foul play in mind. :)

No artist living or dead could paint a more lovely scene than the one in your back yard and beyond. Your cactus blooms are beautiful, too!

Happy Wednesday to you and your wonderful bowwows, dear friend Gayle!

  8. They are so cute together. Our Fuzzy Pom is 12 now. I can't stand to even think about being without him. Seeing your pics of Hamish and Mandables has made me think of getting another little Pom. The problem is that I would like for our next Pom to be a female, and Fuzzy is a male, not neutered. We never had him neutered and have never had a problem because of that. I have always felt that we find the dogs we are "meant" to have, so we will be waiting for further notice from the Universe about getting another little dog.

The photo of The Hamish and Mandables at poolside was precious. I think Hamish is being Mandable's teacher about all doggie matters.

    1. I am amazed about the neuter part. I always had the boys snipped early. Especially if you have two males.
Too bad about not being able to get a female. I love Poms and your gud dug is a cutie !
Am I missing you blog ?
