Square Dog Friday, best day of the week.
but...
thehamish started the week off in pain and not walking,
we had to carry him everywhere.
Back to the vet where more test were taken and found out his back is in trouble.
We got him home filled with pain and muscle relievers.
Back home resting.
We have taken away the stairs up to my bed. He is not happy puppy.
He likes to sleep at the foot of my bed. He doesn't really cuddle but he likes my bed.
whatwhat waht what... i thehamish can no use the stairs to the bed not likin' that
no gud no gud at all
Son took this photo of thehamish and Oliver !
I love it.
thehamish and I sat outside watching the sunset.
The reflection in the window are wonderful.
Ginger pork with green beans over rice with peppers and pickled radishes.
Some friends stopped by for a nice drink and nap.
It has been hot 104+.
Mommy and baby.
The javelina family has about 10 members.
...................
Here is your pretty for the start of the weekend.
Been playing with making some postcards.
Front, has a flap so you can write more.
Back, I added some extra veggies to make it more fun.
cheers. . . parsnip
Poor baby, hope he feels better soon. Love those javelinas. That's too hot, we actually started in t h e 60's a couple of days.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the cards. Ham needs a ramp. My daughter made one for her weenie. Sister had her back operated on and was supposed to not move around. It was impossible. I had to literally sit with her with a leash on her so she wouldn't jump off the couch. Hope the sweet boy is feeling better soon. Love the picture of Ham watching the sunset. And after eating two cookies and some cherry tomatoes for dinner, that pork dinner looks very good.
ReplyDeleteWe had special stairs made but vet does not even want ramp right now.
DeleteDaughter dachshund had 3 operations. They kept him in the crate most of the time till he could move around. He was beaten and had back problems when they adopted him. They never let him jump up or down and were so good to him. I think he had a good life with them.
That what you get for opening your new pool. We had hot weather for a few day so I turned on the heater then we had 4 days of cooler weather but now for a month we are hot hot hot.
ReplyDeletethis is for Mac n' Janet Donna slipped in.
DeleteI worry about Hamish; thanks for the update. That photo of him with Oliver is too cute! I hope he's feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteAs long as we keep the pain meds but I have to watch how much he is on.
DeleteAll the best wishes from us here in rural Australia. Thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteMust check up and see what you are doing.
DeleteI have been so busy and not in a good way.
Poor thehamish, he's certainly having a rough time of it lately. I also like that photo of him and Oliver, quite spooky :)
ReplyDeleteDiana
there are 4 in the series of photos. that one is the funniest.
DeleteWonderful view of the sunset, and lovely photos. Warm greetings and best wishes!
ReplyDeleteBest greeting right back at you.
DeleteMust pop over.
That is such a wonderful shot of Hamish and Oliver.
ReplyDeleteSon took that one !

Oh poor lad. I hope it's eased a bit for him now. X
ReplyDeletehe is going downhill fast..... but we are keeping him happy with pills and toys
DeletePoor Hamish. Crate restriction bites. Love the pictures!
ReplyDeletehe is out now but resting
DeletePoor dear Hanish - he does go through it and I don't expect the hear helps does it?
ReplyDeleteas a rescue dog from a back yard breeder... he has always had a health problem
DeleteThat was a gorgeous sunset. And the ginger pork? I dig that, thanks.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from London.
I love Japanese food so good and super easy.
DeleteGreetings back from Tucson
I wonder if Hamish knows Oliver is behind him.
ReplyDeleteYes and no he knows he is there but has given up on making friends.
DeleteKind of toasty down there, isn't it? At least Hamish and Oliver seem to tolerate each other. How are they about sharing your affection?
ReplyDeleteAnd it will be a little more toasty in a few days.
Deletethehamish wants to be friends. They are not upset, thekatties spend much of their day with son.
You are so creative! The cards, the friends, the food, the sunset photos and son is following in mother's footsteps with photo of the Hamish and Oliver. So artistic!
ReplyDeleteYou are so nice. I wish I could write like you
DeleteI loved the cute picture of the Hamish and Oliver. I hope the pain pills will give the Hamish relief.
ReplyDeleteWe have started shopping for steps so Fuzzy can get up to his favorite recliner easier. He still jumps up onto it, but most times it is a big drama. He tries to jump up, then loses confidence, puts front feet back on the ground, whines a little, spins around walks up and does it again. He will keep trying again and again until I make him stop or he manages to make the jump. Poor little thing. I am always happy to get up and put him on his chair, but as soon as I put him up there and turn to sit back down in my chair, he jumps down off of the chair where I just picked him up and put him. He is 12 years old now. Sometimes he seems as frustrated about the physical limitations that arthritis puts on some of us (people and dogs) as we age as I am.
I hope the Hamish will be back playing with his toys and javelina viewing very soon.
I had special mad steps made but still his back is messed up.
DeleteNow a very long ramp is being made for him so he can get up and off the bed.
What we do for our sweetones.
Oh, thehamish, I'm so sorry that you're poorly. Please get well soon.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Inca xx
awwwww thank you so so much.
DeleteOh poor thehamish. I'm so sorry he got a back problem. I hope he will recover soon.
ReplyDeleteYour card looks very pretty. Sending much love. xo
Not sure what is left that he does not have.
DeleteThat Hamish/Oliver shot is great!
ReplyDeleteKeep cool. It's hot here, too, but nothing like what you're experiencing.
I love the Hamish/Oliver shot, too!
ReplyDeleteHow is Hamish feeling now?
Such a beautiful place to sit and meditate with your faithful companion.
