Wednesday in Japan . . . maybe Tucson

Ginza Sushi and Izakaya
I may be at a restaurant just down the street from my home but I swear I was in Japan.
Son and I shared a few dishes.
Itadakimasu
(lets eat)

 Soft Shell Crab
.
Washu Beef Tataki
.

A perfect bite on my plate.
.

 Sashimi
Slices of very fresh fish served over a bed of shredded daikon radish.
Yellowtail, salmon, albacore, tuna and sea bass
.

Nigiri
Small slices of very fresh fish on pressed vinegared rice.
yellowtail, mackerel, salmon
and spicy crab roll.

The mackerel, salmon and yellowtail has been beyond fabulous the last two years.
Melt in your mouth wonderful.
 .......................
Here is your pretty for the middle of the week.

Everyone calls this an Easter Lilly Cactus,
I think because it usually blooms in April.
Sometimes also  known as Hedgehog or Sea-urchin cactus,
both names I like better.

sashimi. . . parsnip
music. . . Like A Star,  Corinne Bailey Rae
