Tucson Christmas. . .

Merry Christmas !
Around 30 years ago I started a series of Christmas Cards,
The Twelve Days of Christmas.
I figured for 12 years I would have my idea.
When I moved back to Tucson, I thought start a new series
of the 12 days based in Arizona.
.

hahahahaha I forgot to sign the card before the printers so the Square Ones and I had to sign each card.
Do you know how many chkikin' strips I had to bribe them with ?
.

Happy Happy Holidays
Merry Christmas to all the wonderful people I have met through my blog.
Have a wonderful week !

  2. First of all Gayle, thank you so much for sending me a beautiful card like the one above - it is so pretty and we really do appreciate it.

Now here is a letter to the square ones :

Dear Square ones and the kind lady who feeds you chickin strips. This morning the little Red
Royal Mail van pulled up outside our front gate and the postman came up the path with a parcel. When he rang the bell and said it was for Tess Thistlethwaite I couldn't believe it. No-one has ever sent me a parcel before and I felt so very important. My mum opened it for me - chickin strips!! Well, i have never had such a thing in my life. My mum gave me one to try and i sniffed it all over and then buried it under my blanket. Mum tried to take it out of my bed, but I won't let her. It is staying there until I look into it further. At present I am a little suspicious of it, but when my friend Millie comes tomorrow (Millie always steals my food if there is any left in my bowl) I am going to make jolly sure she doesn't get it. I will let you know when I eat my first one. Thanks to all three of you - and have a lovely, doggy Christmas. Let's all woof it! Love Tess xxx

    1. I am happy the card came, I wasn't sure about the homemade envelope that is why I asked.
Your card was wonderful I love the sheep all dressed up nice and warm.
The Square Ones are very happy that Tess received some Christmas mail.
If she doesn't like them please send them home with a friend. They are a different brand that I buy
but they are safe and made in the US and not China.

  6. Your card is beautiful! Love the illustration of square ones, and the stamp of your name in Japanese :-)
I'm sure it took lots of chkikin' strips to let your square ones sign all the cards. Haha.
Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones. Have a wonderful holiday!
