Parley view parsnip.... pig goes on a drunken bender

Best headline ever.
Pig In Australia Steals 18 beers from Campers, Get Drunk Fights Cow.
.
So this poor wild pig goes to a campsite looking for food and find beer instead.
Crunches through 18 cans and gets drunk, find cow and  I assume kick dirt is the cows face.
Said cow is not happy and chases pig around till pig swims across the rive to escape cow and falls asleep under a tree.
Wakes up with a hangover.
While this headline is funny and made me giggle it is also sad.
In all the years I use to backpack and camp all over the wild back country
of the Sierra Mountains,
keeping food  away from wild animals is very important to keeping you safe.
Plus the wild animals need us to keep them safe.

Pool before the hot summer and monsoons with thehamish

Pool after the summer sunshade goes up with thehamish.
Everything is better with a Scotty

And just because I can here is your pretty for the start of the week
Alien plants from Outer Space.

Prickly Pear Cactus

Sometimes we even get a day of snow.

I have NOAA and Accuweather on my computer and track storms and weather.
Storms are very important to watch in Arizona especially in the summer.
Our nights are now in the middle 60's we are very happy.

huggles to your gud duggies !

    1. No rain for us usually until our winter rains that start about mid February.
We might get some sprinkles tomorrow because of a storm in Mexico but I really don't think so.
But you have the lovely Tess !

  6. The story about drunken pigs made me giggle, too. But you are so right about keeping both ourselves and wild animals safe.
Your home and pool are so amazing. The photos of the big shade in the sky are breathtaking! And of course even better with a square one :-) Love the photos of alien plants, too!

P.S. Thank you for your comment. I found your post about Nara. "Run David Run" cracked me up! I didn't know about "walk fast" rule and I got surrounded by many deers!

  7. The sunscreens come in handy here in a couple of places where the public sit over the summer.

Today it was cool enough here that the winter coat came in handy.
