Son took this photo of Merida and Oliver.
Merida is so soft silky smooth but Oliver is very rough and has crumpled fur and a dragon tail.

 The King Returns !

Here is your pretty for the start of the weekend.

.
We had rain so lots of new bloom growth on the Prickly Pear.
The Summer outlook is not good, a huge wildfire season is coming.
Just what we need.

Take care everyone.

  1. I love the dragon tail. Too cute. We have snow and wind today but not much snow. Just a dusting. I love the sunshine you have. Very pretty area you live in.

  2. I could tell by the video that you sure do have a lot of wind there! The gud dugs AND the gud cats all are looking quite fine and ready for Easter! Are Merida and Oliver siblings? They sure look alike but with cats you never know.

I love the funnies. My 67 year old hubby is a fan of Gozilla and even has a Godzilla T-shirt. That Prickly Pear is sure taking off growing. Good to know you had rain.

You take good care and have a Happy Easter!

    1. This is our windy time and I live in the foothills and at the base of where the mountains start to really climb to the clouds. The wind come from the west an zooms through my yard.
      I have alway loved Godzilla.

  4. Hi, Gayle!

That was indeed a good smile on Winston's mandibles of doom. I think he enjoyed sniffin' the breeze. Your son took some great pictures of kitties Merida and Oliver. It's interesting that they have different characteristics. I think Godzilla might be Oliver's papa. Those pads will soon be bursting with colored blooms. I can't wait to see them. I'm sorry the forecast is not good for the wildfire season. Over here we need to worry about the hurricane season which is predicted to be an active one this year.

Stay well and have a nice weekend, dear friend Gayle!

    1. I know what you mean. I wasn't going to adopt any more gud dugs but I wasn't as ill as I am now and I wanted/needed another Sotty ! iwinston is not as trained as my others were I just don't feel strong enough but I adore him. Agatha is a sweetheart and we love her. She had a hard life before us, so we spoil her.

  12. That dragon tail is sooo cute! Do the dogs bother the cats? Our George wants to chase every cat he sees. I don't think we'll ever be able to break him of it.
