Square Dog Friday, monsoon weather

Best day of the week is here
Square Dog Friday !
woof !

Monsoon clouds.

Light rain making the mountains show their sides.

When it is too hot outside to lay in the sun you can come in
the cool home find the sun and nap on the cool floor.

Unless your afraid of the loud thunder and even soft rain, no joy here.

As always here is your pretty for the start of the weekend.

Oh My Goodness !

I must try this !
Thank you Spoon and Tamago !

cheers,  parsnip

  1. Oh, the cat hats. Love them. Poor Agatha seems to have not sorted out her fear of storms. Assuming the thunder shirt did not help? I will forever admire that wonderful puddle of round light for your gud dugs to bask in and cool down at the same time. Wishing you a wonderful weekend friend Gayle. X

    1. I am so happy I could make you feel better with my photo. I just point and click at the beautiful countryside. I am so lucky to live here.
Princess Pepper ! the cute is so adorable.
I am very allergic to cats but I forced myself to be near them and NEVER touch my face or eyes and always wash my hands. It took me almost 3 years to get used to my neighbor cats.
It helped so much and I have learned to be very careful. Son adopted the sister and brother older black cats so they would have a home. He volunteers at the shelter.

    1. I wonder if you can do that with duck feathers ? By the way how are Bryan Molly Fluffy and Cyndi doing ? Are any afraid of the storms and are you flooded ?

    2. A duck feather hat would be pretty cool. Yesterday I groomed Lily and was left with lots of white lumps of hair like tribbles. That would make a some fine hats!

No flooding around here. It's been dry for the past week or so. There's talk of thunder storms coming though. Happily, this pack is not scared of storms!

  5. Those clouds are gorgeous. They look low enough to reach up and touch them.

A cat hat? I don't believe my cats would approve... :)

Have a super weekend. Stay cool!

  6. The cats don’t seem to mind the hats. Maybe it has to do with the material used is part of them.

I hope you didn’t get too hard hit with the storm.

    1. The monsoons wrap around tucson. Mostly hitting the East, South, and West ! we get rain but I am right in the foothills and the north does not get that massive rain.

  9. I LOVE the cat-hair cat-hats! I once made myself a toupee after I brushed our old long-haired cat. It was a perfect match to my hair color and actually looked real!

  10. Oh poor Agatha, I hope she can feel safer.
I love those kitty hair hats! I sometimes make the pointy hats but much smaller than the ones here. Cat ear hat is so adorable. I should try making one :-)

  11. I don't know about those cat hats, but the cloud formation photos are priceless. Poor babies hate the thunder. We've had a mild summer and not too much thunder, thank goodness. Anyway, hugs to all!
