A Tuesday post! Hurray! I do love your fierce vegetables and the angry parsnip will always be a favorite.
We have decided to start our search to adopt another rescue Cairn Terrier. Application in to the Col.Potter Rescue Network and now accepted, been assigned a matchmaker, and now the hunt begins. It's just too sad not having a gud dug to share our days. The final decision always comes down to the Foster Mom/Dad accepting your application and liking the 'cut of your jib'...and some can be quite picky, as well they should be. So we shall see. Will keep you posted! X
SO EXCITED YOU MUST KEEP ME IN THE LOOP ! GOOD LUCK
After thehamish died and with all my progressive health problems, I said "last Scotty and no more gud dugs". I just missed gud dugs so much I couldn't take it. Of course I find lots of Scotty/mixes up in Phoenix now ! I really could have 5 more gud dugs by now !
John's veggie competition ! I love making them. I think you were just supposed to find crazy veg and send a photo in. I always had to embellish it the judges never picked mine.
Just had a rainstorm (or monsoon) here after a week of sun-glare high 80s-low 90s temperatures. While I wouldn't want it to stay this way forever, it's a nice change of pace.
Monsoons have to have certain temps for several days that is why July is 110+ then a certain dew point for several days. It runs from July 15 to September 30. We can get heavy rains, hail, lighting and micro burst. Happens every years. It has been somewhat different the last few years but this is it. Phoenix gets Haboos bad bad bad dust storms that cover everything for miles.
Wonderfully moody skies!
ReplyDeleteThe morning bright blue sky and fluffy white clouds, then afternoon darl gray white clouds dropping rain, booming thunder and lighting.
