I just love this one !

Sir Winston Mandables Churchill is in hospital undergoing testing.
There is something not quite right going on with him.
One of the big tests will be for Valley Fever.  I have it, Winston had it
it is not good ! It is curable in gud dugs but not in people.
We shall wait for answers.

cheers,  parsnip

  2. Hugs for Winston as he has his tests.
All I can say about Agatha is what a lucky dog she is to end up in such a loving, caring home.

  3. Hi, Gayle!

I am so sorry WMC is not feeling 100%, and I hope it isn't Valley Fever. I read it manifests in humans as fever, joint pains and rash. Sounds awful and it makes me blue to learn that you are stricken with it. Prayers for both of you.

On a brighter note, both of your gud dugs look delighted with their new Bark Box. I hope when they start chewin' and bitin' cactus they make sure it's the one that squeaks and not the ones in your garden that have real spines.

Take care of yourself and try to have a good weekend, dear friend Gayle!

    1. I have had Valley Fever since I was 15 It is the lung problems that is so hard. The spore in the lungs infection feel just like and progress to pneumonia, which I have had several times.
If Winston does have Valley Fever it is great that we caught it and he is only 2 1/2 years old.
Thank You for your wishes and I always try to have a good day ! I have a Scotty !

  6. Agatha is so funny and has several quirks that we love. We are trying to show her she doesn't need to be afraid of noise, thunder and men. She adores Son so that is a good sign.
    Thanks for the hugs

  13. Sorry to hear that about Winston. I know next to nothing about Valley Fever and had to look it up on the Internet. At least he's a very young dog with, I would think, a strong immune system.

  14. have never heard of Valley fever but it does not sound nice. I looked it up. I hope it will go away of its own accord with you, and it is good that it is curable in dogs, so it is best to be optimistic. The Bark Box looks like fun!!!!
