nice tall person mum who feeds us are you be needing help ?

This is gud dug Agatha.
When I adopted her from a rescue she had been with a hoarder and she had puppies.
I didn't ask about the pups.
I still look at the gud dugs up for adoption. I have been thinking of adopting
a very old gud dug who needs a home or at least fostering.

Guess what I saw ?
Puppies who look like Agatha ! They are all about a year + which would
be the age of her puppies ! They are at different shelters but all adorable.

.
Argh ! the cuteness.

Winston is at the groomers today, getting his herbal body wrap.
The second he gets home he has a drink of water and rolls in the grass !
So getting a good photo of him is not that easy.
He still has his Badger strips, Thank Goodness !

.

...

Here is your pretty for the start of the weekend.
Today is the first day of summer !
This is what it looks like now, hot hot hot !
No clouds no rain.

Monsoon Season started last Saturday. So far the rains have not come.
I do not care what the weather people say ... it is not monsoon till a 20 to 30
year old boy/man (?)  tries to drive his car around the "Do Not Enter When Flooded"
signs and get stuck in the flooded river or the Stone Avenue underpass. Then has to be rescued !
That is the start of the Monsoon Season!

cheers, parsnip

  1. I loved that little video of Winston and Agatha! And those puppies are SO FREAKIN CUTE!

I love the idea of adopting old dogs. My cocker spaniel Nicky was 7 years old when I got him, and his was a total love.

    1. So many dogs and cats from STUPID owners who do not take care of them. We, Tucson shelters are having an overload of kitten. With all the free neuter clinics around why oh why ?
Anyways....the puppies are so sweet I have seen 5 so far !
I would love to adopt or foster an old dog who needs a safe comfy place to live.

  3. Hi, Gayle!

It was fun to see and hear Winston and Agatha on Peccary Patrol. You will be on the way to a menagerie if you adopt that old dog along with Agatha's young 'uns. You have a big heart, dear friend. I love your definition of monsoon season and your square dog memes, too.

Enjoy your weekend, dear friend Gayle!

  7. Adorable pups, their eyes make me melt. Love your work room with the built-in gud dug window and I must admit I covet your work table. Agatha and iwinston look like they're helping you with a project! Pip was a Cairn Terrier with the same sweet eyes as Agatha. Thank you so much for your kindly emails and support. X

  9. I loved the Alert video. Agatha and Winston are so cute together. The picture of them watching you looked like they were trying to concentrate on/hypnotize you to give them something good to eat. My dog looks like that when he wants me to do or give him something that he wants food, brushing, food, food, food.

  12. I love your dogs. And those young Agathas sure look like her! It's pretty warm here in Maine, a nice slightly humid 82 degrees. My kind of weather :)

  13. Franklin and Penelope heard Agatha bark and wondered what they needed to do to help. Most of the dogs I've adopted have been older and many have had health problems. I would like a third dog, but I can't afford it. Besides, Franklin and Penelope are such a congenial pair that I hate to let anything get in the way of it.

    Love,
    Janie

    2. They are always concerned when they hear dogs barking from somewhere inside the computer or inside the television. Where ARE those dogs? What do they need? How can we help?
