Square Dog Friday fun.
Agatha is napping on top of her crate.
She likes the high ground.
I wonder about her "before" life.
Reflections on my outdoor table.
Love the dog toy that is in the photo.
...
Weaver, wanted to know how long or when the stalk would stop growing and finally bloom.
Well, it stopped growing finally and just started to bloom.
Sad part though is when the buds bloom the bottom of the plant starts to dry up and die.
This drying up start so fast and for me is a sad time for me
but a great time for the animals.
Just starting to bloom.
The birds are very happy.
...
As alway here is your pretty to start the weekend.
The monsoons are coming.
Photos from the last few years. More to come !
cheers, parsnip
I always wonder about my dogs' previous lives, too. Who were their parents? How did they end up where they were? I like the dog toy in the photo, too. A home with dog toys is a good place to be.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Oh Janie so good to hear from you. I am down to one day of the blog and very hit and miss with my comments. Not a good last 3 years for me but I enjoy reading my blogging friends.
DeleteAgatha has a lot of stuff to overcome. Some of them will never get better but she is a beautiful lady with Betty Davis eyes and we love her . She is very sweet and trying to learn her manners.
Iwinston has such a look! Love him. Love Agatha too, such a sweetheart. Have a good weekend, my friend x
ReplyDeleteYes. he has the "Scotty Look". Agatha is very sweet but needs lots of love.
DeleteThank you for showing me Gayle - I think 'Majestic' is the best word to fit. I have a feeling that after it flowers it dies - am I correct? As for Agatha - best not to think about the past life of a rescue dog I think - it is a hard path to go down but I agree with you that she has a sad, worried look. Have a good week end.
ReplyDeleteThe plant blooms and then will slowly dry out. They weigh so much you have to be carefull. Later it becomes food and homes for all different kinds of animals and critters.
DeleteAgatha's eye coloring makes her look so sad, she has the "Betty Davis Eyes".
You have to feel sorry for dog toys. They seem to know they'll have a limited shelf life when presented to Winston or Agatha.
ReplyDeletehahahahahahahahahaha, so true !
DeleteLooks like both Winston and Agatha had fun with the toys :-) I love the reflection on your table. Beautiful sky and gorgeous plant! The photos of lightning are incredible!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend xo
It will be very hot here. Several small fires around Tucson and one near me.
ReplyDeleteLove the square theme with the charcoal briquette dog toy, the grid pattern reflection and of course, the square dog.
ReplyDeleteAgatha is so sweet.
I like squares and use then often in my work, and home design.
DeleteAs for Agatha's past life, it doesn't matter, because her real life started when she met you. You give you lots of happiness now. That's what counts. It still tickles me that you have dog toys delivered regularly. Every dog should be as lucky.
ReplyDeleteHave a super week. Cheers!
American made dog toys and treats NO treats or toys from China. If they are willing to poison their own people and babies why would they care about my gud dugs.
DeleteYes my gud dugs are my only splurge
Cute pooches, although Agatha does have rather the look of a victim about her. What a lovely photo of your enormous plant and the distant mountains, such a beautiful light.
ReplyDeleteAgatha has the Betty Davis eyes, so she always looks a bit sad.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! What a pretty table! Amazing views. Hugs to Agatha and Winston.
