Tuesday Blooms.

Photos from around my home.
Son will drive me around today to take some  photos of the yellow
Palo Verde hillsides.

The birds are already looking for the blooms.

The above two "Echinocereus" cactus or as I call them Easter Cactus  (they bloom around Easter) were eaten by packrats. Not happy ! So not happy !
...

The next 6 photos Son took for me. He walked out and about around the house to get some
clearer bloom photos.

Javelina trails next to my fence.

He is really a great photographer.

  1. Hi, Gayle!

I enjoyed these new shots of all four of your animals, dear friend. Looks like Merida is ready for a cat nap. Your property and surrounding lands are stunning. I greatly admire your prickly pear pads and their showy flowers. I'm sorry pack rats nibbled on your Easter Cactus. Winston must have been asleep at his post if he didn't catch them in the act. Did you try climbing that beanstalk up to the sky? :)

Enjoy the rest of your week, dear friend Gayle!

  2. The cacti blooms look lovely.

    Oliver looks quite stoic.

Merida knows how to seriously yawn.

    Winston has a good profile.

And Agatha is caught in the moment before she killshreddestroys the toy.

  4. After the x walked out I had to move from Laguna Beach a place a really loved and all my friends. Moving back to Tucson, where I grew up and went to school was a easy choice. I love my view and all my animals.

    1. Oliver is such a sweet boy but a Scaredy Cat. Merida is a princess and could care less about what you think of her.

    1. It depends on the day, weather and how bad my phone camera is that the mountains turn blue or purple.

  10. I've never visited anywhere with a desert, so I'm always amazed to see how beautiful the cacti flowers are. You've chosen a lovely place to live. (But way too hot for me!)

    Happy Mother's day!
