  2. Hi, Gayle!

I can tell that Winston was recently groomed. He looks more handsome than ever! I love how he stands at attention on the sofa checking out the pool cleaner. Looks like he's getting ready to attack.

The Opuntia is a beautiful specimen, and so is the monster cactus. You have a green thumb for succulents and I love to study your close-up pictures of them.

Enjoy the rest of your week, dear friend Gayle!

    1. hahahahahahahaha... it is a white plastic hose and a vacuum on the end
My person pool cleaner is tall very thin and completely covered in large hat, long white shirt and cargo pants. When it is hot (107 today) and sunny you have to cover up or you burn !

  5. The neat little doggie plant holder is quite a sight!

Did Winston get a chance to destroy the box when it was empty?

  7. My favorite doggie! What a variety of cacti you have. I have a tendency to water mine to death.

  8. I've been watering this evening and came in exhausted and sopping wet. It is steamy here and nearly 100 today. He looks lovely. Must have been his wrap.

  11. You've got some terrific-looking cacti. I used to have a beautiful crown of thorns. It was grown from a cutting of my grandmother's original plant. (And she's been dead since 1959.) When my aunt gave it to me, she said it never bloomed, but after I got it, it bloomed like crazy. My mother and aunt said it was because my grandmother was glad I had it. Nice thought, but I think it was actually because I didn't take cuttings from it. Sadly, it died a few years ago.
