Mecha Godzilla vs Furry Godzilla
Who will destroy the Gingerbread House !
We know who will win this battle !
Really no constest !
I collect rocks and gems.
Sometimes I don't know what they are except beautiful and interesting.
I can not remember where I found this in Tucson !
.
One of my tiny cactus bloomed. The bloom is about the size of nail on your tiny finger.
Of course I am so clumsy I knocked it over trying to take this photo !
Tiny baby plants growing next to mother plant.
What today looks like. 'Temperature today 40/80 Too warm/hot, all sun no clouds.
No rain or snow either. It will be a bad summer.
.
A few succulents in my studio.
The super tiny baby one is from my daughters friend Stephenie who grows them.
Kokedama, Japanese plant moss ball.
I grew this from a leaf ! Yea me.
...
Here is your mid week pretty.
Have a lovely rest of the week.
cheers, parsnip
Gayle, I really like your cacti and succulents! They're so beautiful! And I love your desert home. 🌵
ReplyDeleteKeep us updated on your orchids !
DeleteThose plants are adorable and so is iwinston! X
ReplyDeleteCurrently snowing like mad up here; up to twelve inches expected before it's over by midnight tonight. A good day to make scones!!!
I just saw a recipe for stove top scones. No need to turn on the oven, except where you are a nice warm kitchen would be nice.
DeleteThe gleam in Mandibles eye as he looks at that house is dazzling! Addore those succulents.
ReplyDeleteHe was very interested in what was that gud house.
DeleteSuch funny photos of mandibles. Is that left over from Mia's visit. Be thankful for the warm. I crave it right now.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to teach him about posing. Yes that was Mia's house.
DeleteTake the hot weather we need rain and snow !
It's best that Mecha Godzilla and Fuzzy Godzilla remain foes. Should they unite, the entire Gingerbread village would face annihilation.
ReplyDeleteMy fun furry Godzilla ! I lurve him.
DeleteCacti are about the only plant I can manage to keep alive.
ReplyDeleteI like that rock!
And Furry Godzilla seems more interested in the gingerbread house.
He was very interested in the house,
ReplyDeleteFud Gud !
Those pictures of Winston lusting after that gingerbread house are adorable. It's a good thing you didn't make it out of chickun, because he might not have shown such restraint. :)
ReplyDeleteThe full moon shot is terrific.
CHKIKIN ! yes please !
DeleteHaha, a good sequence of funny pictures of the gingerbread house! I love those pictures of gemstones, I wonder what they are. Do you just collect for the visual appearance, or do you know what the geology is?
ReplyDeleteAlthough I am sure it is far too hot, there is something very charming in that deep blue sky and bright sunshine, at least from the point of view of grey skies and chill!
On my walks I will take a photo or pick up a rock. I usually know what kind of rock it is. The one I took a photo of looks like it has some Chalcocite running through it.
DeleteI also pick up for the visual.
Great cacti. Love the varieties. We moved to this house where previous owners loved roses.
ReplyDeleteOver from twosquaredogs. Enjoy your blog.
oops...over from Share my Garden.
DeleteI love Roses. The front of my old house was filled with Iceberg roses. I loved it and miss them.
DeleteI love Share My Garden. She lives in a garden Paradise.
Godzilla is the pretty, the most gorgeous of monsters. Hoped Winston enjoyed the house. Great cacti, such a variety
DeleteOne only has to say GODZILLA ! that says it all.
DeleteDid he enjoy the gingerbread?! Lovely cactus flower. Beautiful colour blue in the sky, but I know what you mean about winter weather.
ReplyDeleteTucson's winter is so easy to live with 2 months and it is over. Lots of sunny days with temps from the 32 to 60+. But it is the needed rains/snow in mountains the keeps us alive through the hot summer and fire season.
DeleteLOL mecha Godzilla vs furry Godzilla. This is sooo cute :-) And of course, furry Godzilla will destroy the gingerbread house!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty cactus flower and succulents. I love the look of kokedama. And the rock is beautiful! I used to collect small rocks when I was small :-)
I thought you might like the battle of GODZILLAS !
DeleteI wish I could make a kokedama like the ones I saw in Japan covered in green moss. Beautiful.
Ah, Furry Godzilla looks ready to pounce at any time! He is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI did not know you had a green thumb. Everything I try to grow dies. Although I have a tiny pot of catnip I got for our kitty that I've been able to keep alive for a couple of months. Because I don't need it, naturally. Seems she's a teetotaler.
No green thumb any more... not in the desert. Cactus and succulents live on neglect but do not over water.
DeleteDaughters flatmate Steph, grows succulents and sell them. She always sends me some.
Never was a big succulents fan but once you live in a desert you start to appreciate them and all the shapes andcolors they have.
I don't know that Godzilla sniffed first before destroying a building, but it's nonetheless a funny series of pictures.
ReplyDeleteFurry Godzilla has to learn stuff first. He is only a puppy godzilla !
Deletedig that full moon! did iwinston enjoy the gingerbread house? and look at all the pretty cacti! you can send that 80 degrees here; we are below 32F today, and we had a mix of snow/ice/rain yesterday.
ReplyDeleteiwinston did get a nibble of frosting crumb but he did not get any to eat. He did get several pieces of "chkikin" which he loves.
ReplyDeleteThe weather is lovely but not when we are suppose to have our one month of off and on winter rain.
It will be a bad very no good super bad summer.
Nooooo not the house ... oh nooooo.
ReplyDeleteJust kidding. Great collection of photos.
Love the plants.
