Square Dog Friday. . . extra missing stuff

Square Dog Friday best day of the week is here.
Woof !

Just so you do not forget I still have one Square Dog who is now living
with his trainer, on a ranch with gud dugs, cats and horses.
I just know he is not coming back, he is having too much fun !
Bad bad bad gud dug puppy.

 Winston

 Winston goes in

  and stays in.
.

 Oliver goes in

 and zooms out.

Oliver and Merida have taken over.
They think this is all "katty world" now.
hahahahahahaha just wait till Winston comes back.
They do not want to share even though thehamish was so quiet around them.

Storm clouds over the Rincons.
.

Clouds in my backyard.
.
.
I laid down and took a photo every 5 minutes while Winston ran around like crazy.
 .

 .

Storm coming in from the East at sunset.

....................

As alway here is your pretty to start the weekend.

If you check out Wednesday post, this is the way the Cocoon looks when the lights are working.
Photo from the Tucson Public Arts Website.

I made Japanese Fried Chicken with Shishito peppers with Shiitake mushrooms.
The sauce was mirn and soy sauce.

It was so good, this was the leftover that I had for breakfast the next day.
Just the best. So easy and so good.
.

To everyone in the path of the storms please be safe.
I lost my home in a firestorm so I understand. It is so hard on everyone.
Destruction everywhere, please take care.

cheers,  parsnip xx

  1. Gayle - that Japanese recipe looks so good - any chance of you posting the recipe so that we can try it?

  2. It looks better than my spoon of peanut butter. Beautiful blue skies. What is trainer training?

    1. I am not able to do the early puppy training. The trainer will be working with me after mandibles come home.
Sitting on the floor working with the basic and lead training. Stopping all the chewing of men's pants/ankles and puppy biting.
When he comes back he will have his snip and all of the puppy teeth will be gone. Having to use a walker a well trained dog is a must.
I just can not do all that anymore.

  4. Can't wait till he comes home and takes over, the cats won't know what hit them. Then again, they may not cede control.
Iran's path is looking a little better for us, a sigh of relief.

    1. You are so nice to say that. I will "forgive" that off topic anytime. It is just home to me. Full of gud dugs and kattie.
I did not take much from the divorce, I took the children, the gud dugs and my art.
Had to move, bought a few good pieces, hit the resale and that is my home.
It is very comfortable for me and the gud dug and katties.
I hope you will be safe. Be sure to send out "we are OK" for all of us.

  6. The cats may pretend they like Winston being gone but I bet they miss him. My cat always missed my dog when she had to go off for a few days.

The Cocoon is almost surreal! Lovely!

All these hurricanes, earthquakes, and wildfires are making the news hard to keep up with. I pity all the poor displaced people. While I hope the government doesn't let them down, I am not optimistic.

    1. Merdia hiss at thehamish everytime she could. Oliver would be close only because of "chkikin" then move away.
Winston is being trained not to chase the katties

  7. Sounds like Winston is having a great time! But I'm sure he will be very happy to come home as well :-)
Sky is beautiful. It's a lot of fun to just watch clouds changing shape. I had shishito last night, too!

So hard to see areas and those who are affected by disaster. Irma is heading our way. It should get much weaker by the time it reaches here but we are prepared for power outage.

  9. Beautiful sky shots. I hope there are no fires in your area.

How long will Winston have to be at boot camp?

    1. No fires right now but......
Winston is coming home for a week on Tuesday, his trainer needs to leave.
But he will go back. The trainers dogs are confused by a tiny crazy bundle of fur that wants to be top dog !
