Square Dog Friday... Agatha's new pillow.

Big News !
Son and I have been talking about a new pillow for Agatha's crate.
I think/thought  the big floor pillow that is a bit to big for the crate was great.
Nice fluffy and comforting.
Son thought she might like the one that fit the crate with rim would be better.
I must admit that he was right she loves it on top of her crate ! I put it on top to see if it
was the right size. She love laying on the top of the crate I think because of her former life.
When you are high you can escape the other dogs.

Ok. can anyone tell me how this is comfortable ?

Pillow fits the crate and is very soft and cozy.

 iwinston thinkin' so

 iwinston is always on duty
intel is tellin' iwinston of a raid must keep on security

 still train' new recruit

keepin' lizard bush on raider

......

As always here is some pretty for the weekend.

Palm with new baby palm shoots.

Sage bush in front of my home.  Silver leaves and lavender flowers just lovely.
Son took this photo for me.

cheers,  parsnip

  1. Hi, Gayle!

It does my heart good to see Agatha lovin' her comfort mat and snoozing on it. It looks like Agatha's boot camp training under drill sergeant Winston is turning her into a top notch security gud dug. Thanks to their vigilant patrolling, I don't see a single lizzerd, peccary, wolverine or rhinoceros on your property. :) Your palm is lovely and the sage spectacular!

Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend Gayle!

    1. We may not have rhinoceros but we have hippopotamuses because our javelinas are part of the Hippo family tree. I rather like this.

  5. What a fine pillow! That sage is gorgeous. I'm constantly amazed at the things that grow in the Sonora desert...

  6. I used to love buy new bed options for the cats. They loved them, too. And then a box would come into the house... or a slipper... or a throw for the sofa. I stopped taking up our limited space with store-bought cat beds! That sage is stunning!

  7. A tiny black kitten appeared on our front porch a year ago this month. I bought her a bed like Agatha's, thinking it would work on top of the trunk at my bedroom window. Thank goodness I set it on the floor first to see how she'd like it. She peed in it! So now it sits under the litter pan to catch some of the escaped litter. After she was spayed I fixed up a bed for her - a soft pillow in a wicker dog basket. She peed in it, too! So no beds for Pearl. She sleeps wherever she wants, mostly on the high backs of upholstered furniture.

I love your blog, rarely comment, and am so happy to see how well guarded you and your home are!!!♥♥♥

  8. Lovely new bed Agatha. I have just done away with Tess's crate and she now just sleeps on her bed up against the radiator - I kept tripping over the corner of it.
