Tucson
It is hot here but strange hot and cool. I do not really like it.
Hot not so hot really just make up your mind.
This is so not our spring/summer weather !
It is out of sync

This was our Thursday morning weather about 9 or 10 am.

Today, Square Dog Friday,  we will be as high as 101
 with a low of 70.
It has not been this hot this early since 1947, the year I was born.
Oh My goodness !
Other than pool is now OPEN . . . not much more to say !

..........

As always here is your pretty for the weekend.
The Saguaros are blooming.
Flower crowns of nature.

My neighbors Saguaro is growing an arm.

So that means this Saguaro is 75 or 100 years old.

.
So beautiful.
One of my favorite plants.

  1. Dear thehamish. Glad the wall of food is alright. Love the little arm. Weather unseasonal here too. Cold but no rain for a month. The plants are suffering.

  6. That's a lot of grub for TheHamish!

Here we're soaked with rain, and we really need dry weather for a couple of weeks.

    2. He is a Scotty who does not like to swim but he is good with his baths.
I don't think he counts but if i give a treat to the cats he wants his too. He will get a treat several times a day but it is after his many eye drops, or when we work on a trick.
I think the Saguaros are blooming early. The blooms only last about a day. I will see if Adam can get a ladder out and try an get a super close up.
The birds love them especially the fruit.

  16. Hello Parsnip, a great blog and as Always love your way of telling how Themish is playing with toys, or like now looking at a wall of foodcans. The cactus with the flowers is most wonderful. In your previous blog about the fire was a shock to see. It is so sad to think of all the animals who are suffering because of this.
    Take care,
    Roos
