It is out of sync
It is out of sync
This was our Thursday morning weather about 9 or 10 am.
Today, Square Dog Friday, we will be as high as 101
with a low of 70.
It has not been this hot this early since 1947, the year I was born.
Oh My goodness !
Other than pool is now OPEN . . . not much more to say !
..........
As always here is your pretty for the weekend.
The Saguaros are blooming.
Flower crowns of nature.
My neighbors Saguaro is growing an arm.
So that means this Saguaro is 75 or 100 years old.
So beautiful.
One of my favorite plants.
walls. . . parsnip
music. . . I Don't Know Why, Nora Jones
Dear thehamish. Glad the wall of food is alright. Love the little arm. Weather unseasonal here too. Cold but no rain for a month. The plants are suffering.
ReplyDeleteWall of food IMPORTANT !
DeleteIt's gonna get hot, Hamish. Stay in the shade of the Wall of Food or the Saguaro!
ReplyDeleteSo hot then drops again.... yikes
DeleteGood Friday to you Mr Thehamish.
ReplyDeletewurf right back to you !
DeleteDear Hamish - you really look as though you are reading those tins of your food - but one thing is certain - you can sure eat it! Hugs from Tess.
ReplyDeleteyesh i thehamish is happy to eat the fud
Deletewurfs to Tess
Now that is a whole lotta stockpiled food for you, thehamish. You are a lucky gud dug! Saguaro cactus are wonderful. Love the wee arm. Heat for you but rain, rain, rain for us. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteI really don't like going to the vet to buy food !
DeleteSo many places are getting rain and floods we are getting heat and then cool.
That's a lot of grub for TheHamish!
ReplyDeleteHere we're soaked with rain, and we really need dry weather for a couple of weeks.
Food is gud gud gud !
DeleteGuard it Hamish those Wiley cats may break in. We've dropped back to the 70's too, weird, but welcome.
ReplyDeleteThey don't like his food... so more for him.
DeleteA wall of food! Now that is something to be pleased with ! :)
ReplyDeletewall of fud gud gud gud for i thehamish
DeleteDoes Ham swim? My weenies count too. They know how many treats they get per day.
ReplyDeleteAnd I didn't know that about the cactus. Beautiful flowers on them.
DeleteHe is a Scotty who does not like to swim but he is good with his baths.
DeleteI don't think he counts but if i give a treat to the cats he wants his too. He will get a treat several times a day but it is after his many eye drops, or when we work on a trick.
I think the Saguaros are blooming early. The blooms only last about a day. I will see if Adam can get a ladder out and try an get a super close up.
The birds love them especially the fruit.
Wow, wow, wow on that flower and also, what a cute pup. Always.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are so beautiful.
DeleteWoo hoo food wall, the taller the better :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of saguaros. The little arm is so cute!
wall of fud is gud i thehamish is likin' it
DeleteBon appetit, Hamish.
ReplyDeleteI say that to him every time I put his food down
DeleteI love the idea of Hamish counting, just to make sure...
ReplyDeleteThe cactus flowers are spectacular.
We've been having our own variations of very weird spring weather. But yours is to darn hot! xo
It is so weird here, I just can not belive it.
DeleteI hope your weather is much better
Oh wow - thehamish - that's one gigantic lot of gud fud ! I have Royal Canin too, but it's kibble, and only in one big bag - about 14 kilos....
ReplyDeleteWe love the cactus flowers too, they are so pretty.
Love,
Inca xx
He is to get some dry food for his kidneys but I will have to pick that up on Monday.
DeleteFancy you remembering the lasagna Parsnip!! I did indeed buy one and I put it into the Aga as soon as I got home and had it for my lunch with tender stem broccoli and asparagus. Delicious.
ReplyDeleteYou have mentioned it a few times and it always sound so good.
DeleteHello Parsnip, a great blog and as Always love your way of telling how Themish is playing with toys, or like now looking at a wall of foodcans. The cactus with the flowers is most wonderful. In your previous blog about the fire was a shock to see. It is so sad to think of all the animals who are suffering because of this.
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Roos
We had snow today. Your heat looks nice. The sun looks even nicer!
ReplyDeleteI love the cactus pictures! And as always, Hamish is too cute for words. His admiring his food wall makes me laugh.
ReplyDeleteHamish is such a cutie. I like the cactus photos, too
