  3. You've got the cutest little Scottie puddle ever!

When I was a little girl, my grandmother gave me a set of four to six (can't remember now... it's been a year or two) little metal Scotties with magnets on their bottoms. I could make them "move" by putting them on a metal table and moving another magnet around from underneath. Not sure why I suddenly remembered them...

I'm glad to hear that's a controlled burn in your mountains. A wildfire has been ranging in the north Georgia mountains for over a month, and there's no end in sight to the drought. The air is dry, warm, and smoky.

Take care. Have a super weekend, and a wonderful Thanksgiving.

    1. Susan I had the Scotties also, so much fun.
I lost my home in a raging wildfire, so any time I see a fire I can no what could happen.
      Wildfires are horrible.

  5. Love the adorable black puddle - with perky ears! Merida reminds me of a much loved and long gone cat named Bill Underfoot. He would not tolerate dried floral arrangements either. Always rearranged them to his taste...usually onto the floor. X

    1. Thank you , I like simple spaces and this home was designed with different ceiling heights to defined spaces.
Living in Tucson is one reason it looks so clean. We are a dusty town. The nature of our landscape, the wind and the heat we are dusty. I despise having to dust so no extra stuff laying around and no carpet floors that hold dust and little critters that like to hide in there.
      whahahahahahahaha

  9. We had our first freeze last night and I didn't turn on the heater. The weenie girls and I were snuggled together under the covers. It was bliss. Me and my dogs. Nothing better.
