Square Dog Friday... a mix up

Square Dog Friday !
The very best day of the week.
You know the drill so lets woof it.
.
We are off to take thehamish for his Herbal Body Wrap.
He has an appointment just like when we get our hair cut and he gets the same groomer.
So this will be a quick post, we are zooming out the door.
Photos later of his beautiful hair cut. He loves it there
and is a very Gud Dug.
Yert !
.....
What is so funny is my dogs rarely bark at the door now.
They used to bark as puppies and younger dogs but I trained them when they come to the door
they get 3 barks and then sit and wait. Plus no jumping.
When they hear someone outside, late at night they will growl, burff and then bark .
I really wish thehamish would aroooooooooo like gud dug Watson used to,
but alas no.
Woe.

I think thehamish's nose was cold.
And that is my new scarf !

 Lonely puppy.

 Sad lonely puppy.

 Oh woe is me puppy
.............

And of course  just because I can,
here is your pretty for the start of the weekend.
.

 .

Same sunset clouds shot at different times.
It was even prettier than this photo.
I can only use my phone camera now.
This came out pretty close to the color but rather flat.
I still like them though

singing. . . parsnip
music. . . Tom's Dinner,  Suzanne Vega
.

  3. Oh thehamish, T and P send you woofs and licks so you don't feel so woeful. Enjoy your herbal body wrap (wish I could have one they sound lovely!). I might get your mum to come over and train T&P on how not to bark at the door :o)

    1. That is a two sided wish.
I don't mind them barking running to the door but at the door they need to be quiet. That is the three or so barks and to sit.
But they need to bark to be watchdogs.

  5. If the purpose of your blog is to make everyone fall in love with your dogs, I'd say you've been quite successful. I think everyone who looks at them wants to give 'em a big hug. (I know I do!)

Your sky pictures are gorgeous, as always.

    Have a super weekend!

  6. Does Hamish still miss Watson a lot Gayle? Of course, he can't tell you even if he does, but he can ask for lots of cuddles.

  7. Oh, sweet thehamish! I know I saw Angel Dog Watson gently laying his head by yours as you dream. You are so loved by mama.

The door mat is perfect! I still have a dog that will occasionally sing the song of her people...

  9. Of course he loves the comfort of your scarf. If it is new he has to christen it for you. Such a thoughtful dog.

  16. Hi, dear Gayle! I love your pictures of Gud Dug thehamish! My Toto used to pee submissively whenever people came to the door. Sometimes they ended up with wet shoes! :) We needed to work with her for quite some time to break her of that habit. Toto was also an "aroooooooooo" doggie. In her younger years she made all sorts of grumbling and grunting sounds and did lots of barking, but she settled down in her senior years. I always love to see your doggie pics and read about their quirks.

I hope you are having a great weekend, dear friend Gayle!
