Wednesday in Japan by way of Arizona.
Japanese family came for a month to visit.
They took a one week trip to Northern Arizona/Southern Utah.
They love to hike and explore.
I just received this wonderful book in the mail yesterday.

It's incredible what can be done uploading photos these days! I'm looking into Dartmoor Christmas cards at the moment to see if it would be financially viable should any followers want to buy them. What a gorgeous book Parsnip. No wonder you're so delighted.
ReplyDeleteOh Em... I hope you read this reply.
DeleteI remember some of your winter photos, especially the ice/frost ones !
One trip to UK see my son at Cambridge, right before Christmas, I bought all the Christmas Robin cards I could find. I was enchanted.
I know you have many lovely winter bird photos. The snow/Robin photos are something we didn't ever see in sunny California.
Is there any consignment/art shop that you could put your cards in ? or online shop ?
But you already know how much I adore your photos.
I can sell them through Etsy I guess. Something very strange is going on with Etsy though in my sidebar! I'll keep you posted and have a look at how much I could sell them for. Etsy automatically converts into dollars!
DeleteWhat a meaningful gift, p.
ReplyDeleteIt was very ice of them to do that for me. I know several of the places they love to visit but have not been there in many years.
DeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteI really have to see that part of the continent...
I think you would love to visit Arizona. The vistas are so different from where you live.
DeleteThe hiking trail are so exciting.
I've been to Arizona, but it's been a long time. I've always loved the Southwest, especially Arizona and New Mexico.
ReplyDeleteIt does get to you, the colors the sky the wide open spaces
DeleteOh I LOVE faffing about with photographs and keep saying to Jon I should make more photobooks of our bike adventures and then there is the wonderful Yorkshire moors on our doorstep, and the sea, oh and the hens - always fun. A lovely gift. I did a photobook for a friends wedding - I really enjoyed putting it all together.
ReplyDeletehahahahahahaha... I now have to new word to use FAFFING.... love it
DeleteOh, that looks gorgeous, and now that photographs are all kept digitally, and no longer in physical form, what a perfect way to preserve and view. Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to just hold it and look at it. Instead of saying OK what till I bring up the photos and we can all cluster around the computer and look !
DeleteWhat a nice idea.
ReplyDeleteIt is great fun !
