Square Dog Friday, late !

Square Dog Friday, best day of the week.

but...

thehamish started the week off in pain and not walking,

we had to carry him everywhere.

Back to the vet where more test were taken and found out his back is in trouble. 

We got him home filled with pain and muscle relievers.

Back home resting.

We have taken away the stairs up to my bed. He is not happy puppy.

He likes to sleep at the foot of my bed. He doesn't really cuddle but he likes my bed.

 thehamish and I sat outside watching the sunset.

 The reflection in the window are wonderful.

 Ginger pork with green beans over rice with peppers and pickled radishes.

 Some friends stopped by for a nice drink and nap.

 It has been hot 104+.

Monday mash up

What was going in Tucson this weekend.

I have made a nest for thehamish on my bed to snuggle in.

Cabana Boy

Pool cleaning.

Birds and lizards are always on the window ledge.

Oliver tried to smack him through the window.

Tiny Godzilla doesn't care.

I made Pork Miso Ramen, with enoki mushrooms, sugar snap peas, tiny peppers 

and fast pickled cucumbers.

White Tuna roll with spicy crab and tempura shrimp.

I like simple rolls but this one was so good !

Eel with avocado and a poached quail egg.

Beyond fabulous.

Another week of too many doctor visits with too much bad news.

But life goes on and we shall be happy.
