I love Osaka.
It is a great city and the people who live there are a hoot !
I always have the best time when I walk (when I could walk) around the city.
Especially in the older city .
I am re-running some photos of Osaka for today's post,
while trying to learn the new Chrome program.
Downloading photos from my phone into Dropbox is not working, yet
but I will master it !
If you have read my blog for any time you will remember some of these photos,
my love of the Osaka Tower and the Takoyaki Stand below it.
my love of the Osaka Tower and the Takoyaki Stand below it.
Still the best Takoyaki I have ever had.
Little round dough balls filled with a small piece of octopus,
with sauce, tuna flakes, pickled ginger and green onions on top.
Heaven in a bite.

Tsutenkaku ( Building leading to heaven) is a symbol of Osaka and has been in many movies.
It was built in 1912, and was a symbol of ShinSekai (A new world).
The lights on the round neon sign gives the weather forecast in color combinations.
White = fair, Orange = cloudy, Blue = rainy.
I want one of these Fugu lanterns
The fish it self is rather bland.
.
Takyoyaki street stand
Here they are making my favorite street food.
It takes just a few minutes from looking like the what chef oh the left is doing
to the cooked octopus balls the chef on the right is finishing.
You eat them with a toothpick.
They are wonderful.
....
And just because I can here is your mid week pretty.
thehamish and Watson looking very pretty.
Always napping together. thehamish always finds a way to snuggled in
wherever Watson sleeps.
takoyaki. . . parsnip
