Still working on Japanese Family settling in.
So much going on and Sir Winston is not helping at all. Barking every time he sees David. Seems he can't remember who David is. If he walks in from outside or another room Winston barks like a stranger is attacking /walking in, even though he just saw David go out. I am at wits end.
Maybe an end of summer tomato.

Maybe if David was the one in charge of feeding Sir Winston, he would remember him? Those are lovely skies!
ReplyDeleteDavid is a big tall person and when living in Japan we could always find him in a crowd, blond Albert Einstein hair helped. We have given David the favorite treats to give out.It is so weird. We are going to the Vet today for other reasons and will ask.
DeleteI haven't kept up with all that's going on because of work, so I don't know who David is but I hope everything works out with dogs both gud and maybe a little naughty.

DeleteDavid is my oldest son who has Lived in Japan for over 25 + years received his degree from University there and one from University of Arizona and has a Masters in Education.

ReplyDeleteDavid is like what the swiffer was for Apollo. David can throw down treats on the ground whenever he is sitting at a table or a sofa. He can also throw down treats when he walks in a room. He shouldn't say anything or acknowledge it. Just go about doing what he was going to do, and eventually, Winston will be conditioned to associating David with a good thing. This is not to say that David IS a swiffer, but well, dogs are weird that way.
