Square Dog Friday here and there

Oh My Goodness best day of the week is here.
Square Dog Friday
You know the drill so lets woof it !
.
When I moved into this house, the former owners had two master bedroom sharing
a bathtub, shower and bathroom. They each had their own closets and sinks.
Watson and thehamish found they could run in a circle from one room to the other side of the house, when the door was open.
The Square Ones loved loved to run the course.
.
I moved 4 walls ripped up carpet made two self contained bedrooms and bathrooms.
But that also meant closing off the run between the two bedrooms and the rest of the house.
Watson loved to run back and forth so much that I had a Square Dog door put in.
I do have some photos of Watson using the door but I can find them ?
One time Watson was walking into Son's bedroom
and thehamish tried to squeeze through at the same time.
He is  thehamish !
.
Here is thehamish using the door.
A little blurry as he was moving.
I am closing off the gud dug door. thehamish does not use it as much a Watson did.
.

My bathroom is to the right, then the tub with a step down shower behind it.

  1. Hi, dear Gayle! It's great to know that you still have so many pictures of dearly departed Watson to post for us along with old and new pics of his brother thehamish. I love your square dogs. They look so cute using that doggie door and gazing out the window to search for bunnies and skunk pigs.

Happy Halloween to you and thehamish, dear friend Gayle!

  3. Hmmmm . . . gud cookie for thehamish. I like the door. Franklin and Harper used to chase each other around a bush in the backyard. They didn't seem to notice they always ended up in the same place. I've had to cut the lower branches off the bush because sweet little Penelope hides under them, and I can't find her in the dark.

    Love,
Janie XOXO thehamish, such a gud dog

  4. Plenty of people have doggie doors leading to the outside, but this is the first time I heard of one INSIDE of the house. Naaaah, your dogs are at ALL spoiled... (They deserve it!)

  12. I think it will eventually be funny when a new owner of your house has to 'work out' why that little door exists. We fall over backwards for our dogs don't we?
