I did put up the snow globes and the lights.

The credenza will be filled with cards today.

 Granddaughter is learning how to use a camera.

What is so cute about this photo is I bought the hat she is wearing several years ago.

It wa a last minute gift I found at Walgreens.

It is a kitty hat and when you squeeze the paws in front the tail flips up.

She has worn it for three years. You never know what gift they will love the best.

These are some of her first photos. Not too shabby for a 6 year old.

I took these from the computer so they are somewhat grainy. 

Japanese Son post them so they have his name on the photos.

 Of course I love this one the best.

I wanted daughter and roommates to have something to open before they visit

after Christmas. Gifts will be open then.

 I started to work on these pillows over 15 years ago and just put them away unfinished.

I love buttons and have jars and bowls of them.

Last night I finished the pillows and will send them off tomorrow.

They are all hand stitched but I found out my fingers do not work as they once did.

They came out cute but as I said I love buttons !

I wrap gifts and tie string and bows with buttons, glue them on boxes 

and cut tin ornaments.

They have 3 cats and one dog so even if these Christmas Trees get knocked over,

I am sure the cats can not hurt them.

We have had a very bad week so this is a great ending.
Today will be better.

Taking a photo of thehamish is  easy, he is a great subject. Try taking a photo of a 

Little Black Square Dog with dark eyes is not so easy.

I delete a lot of dark photos and Scotty puddles even though they are so cute !

Japanese son has played Santa for the University Kindergarten for several years. 

He has also played a Santa at a Mall.

They loved him because he speaks both Japanese and English and he 

enjoys all the excited children.

Christmas is still very nice in Japan not quite the overboard crazie

that sometimes is here in America.

Be well and drive safe in the bad weather. 

Better yet stay home if you are in the massive snow storm that is engulfing
