More Christmas Lights in Tucson.

Last week we visited Tohono Chul Park.

A small park that winds around filled with desert plants.

The afternoon we went they were getting reading for a Christmas Festival. 

The whole walking garden was filled with light everywhere.

We didn't stay for the party, lot of food and drinks, meet the Artist, Chefs and Musicians.

But even in late afternoon and twilight just starting what we could see was wonderful.

They have several wonderful galleries with different shows all year.

Son loves to play Santa every year.

He was even a Mall Santa one year !

Wonderful friend Debbie came for a few days of Tucson fun.

We finally went back to the very old El Corral Steakhouse.

This Ranch House has been here since the 1920.

Best Prime Rib ever.

Last time I tried to take some photos they really did not come out.

But Sunday, Son walked around and took some wonderful photos for me.

They always have color fairy lights all year but at Christmas they go all out and  

put on a wonderful light show.

Wednesday In Japan. . . Christmas

Quick post for me and then back to folding my Christmas Cards

and a coffee.

One year (after the x walked out) I took the children and we went to Tokyo

for Christmas week.

One of the best treats was going to the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Japan

on Christmas Eve.  Best day ever. So much fun.

Of course I was careful and only bought just a few Totoro Cups.

So wrong !

I should have bought all 12 but I didn't.

.

So on 2nd Day of Christmas let there be Totoros !

 All of the cup above my coffee maker are from Japan except for the red one on the left.

Love the espresso cups on the bottom right that are in shadow, the handles are green leafs.

Two cups I only use at Christmas time.

I think they came from Starbucks many many many years ago.

I haven't been in a Starbucks forever !

But I am happy I went there that day to buy a Starbucks loving friend a gift.

And I saw these cups. I kept them.

Still playing catch up.

I have had a few set backs, so I am behind.

The month of November  when I usually have my cards done and the package for Japan 

wrapped and ready to go. Just is not happening this year.

I had to make some changes to the cards and now I am printing, folding and cutting

them all.  Oh My Goodness !

I have a very small crop of Tangelos this year.

Lost so many blooms in the spring.

But my Grapefruit tree went crazy with fruit.

We might have some freezing temps tonight (two months early)

so I need to pick as much fruit as I can.
