the rain starting at the north east
circulating around the valley
heading south west
I swear this looks like the cloud formation the aliens hide in at the start of
the movie Independence Day
ending in the south west.

ReplyDeleteWhat amazing cloud formations you have captured here.One can almost feel the 'eye of the storm' and its power.
The Texas Rangers look to be very resilient plants and so very pretty. Their clouds of blue flowers reflect the clearing skies after the storm is over.
The clouds are my most favorite part of the summer months.
DeleteThere are three different colors of Texas Rangers lavender, pink/lavender and a deep purple. They are in bloom everywhere now.

I remember those fast moving storm when I was a child. The washes would fill up with fast moving water in the blink of an eye.
DeleteOne time I even remember it pouring rain straight down and walking to the other side of the street and it felt like I was coming out of a curtain of water.
Is it strange that I'm envious of getting rain?

We had a tiny shower after the dust storm but not quite enough in my mind :)

Oh, the smell of sage and ozone... Maybe it's really the #1 thing I miss about America.
