It is Square Dog Friday and the 1st of March where did February go ?
If your a Little Black Square Dog everyday is the 1st and the best.
So lets woof it...

I would find Watson sitting and looking east towards the small citrus grove in the early evening.
Very zen, I thought he was always meditating till I notice a small cottontail rabbit would come out and look back at him. They would sit like that for the longest time till the bunny would hop away or doofus thehamish would bound by leaving a trail of destruction and woofs.
I just happened to get this photo of them in a quiet second before thehamish woofed squirrel !
and took off.

Cousin Waldie comes for a visit.
They are all looking towards the kitchen as dinner was starting to be made.
Snow on the mountains! Our Mt. Charleston is still white.
ReplyDeleteThat was some storm we had. It snows on the mountains around Tucson but to have that much snow is so strange It snowed off and on all Wednesday. It melted to were it should have been on Thursday.
Deletei love march's photo! and march too for that matter, ha ha...
ReplyDeletehugs, bee
YERT!
Yes, I know you and quite a few people don't like February.
DeleteI like all the months they all have something to offer.
The mountain is beautiful--but I still like the Square Ones best!
ReplyDeleteAnd they love you....
Deletechkikin' strip all around !
Beautiful mountains! It makes me want to climb!
ReplyDeleteThe square ones and Waldie are as adorable as ever...
These are just the foothills, the higher mountains behind are even better with lakes and streams.
DeleteWhat a blue sky!
ReplyDeleteAnd it is even bluer in person.
DeleteSo adorable and with castles in the sky. Wow. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThey do look like castles in the sky !
DeleteVery excited at the idea of a 'small citrus grove'! Soubds gorgeous, just like the square ones themselves.
ReplyDeleteIt WAS wonderful but the last four year we have had several days of hard freezes that have destroyed them. When I grew up in Tucson we had some evening when the temps would dip down below freezing but nothing like this. I have lost all my trees but 5. They are so old (about 45)that they can't bonce back.
DeleteI am having 2 of them cut down this month. The last 3 are bad but I am holding off for now. I used to have so much fruit that gave big boxes of it away.
wow, lovely view!
ReplyDeleteYes, I have a wonderful view that's is why I bought this home. I am very lucky.
DeleteBut you have all the great markets and restaurants !
Handsome fellows. They sound like Tess, staring a rabbit out but never catching it.
ReplyDeleteWatson is very sweet and will just watch the bunny but doofus thehamish just zooms around barking !
DeleteHow sweet those dogs are, are endlessly entertaining! I love to see mountain tops ABOVE the clouds, how inspiring to see that view every day in all its moods.
ReplyDelete«Louis» likes the "Castle In The Sky" description!
ReplyDelete(«Louis» also likes to read about the Navy and your "Castle" analogy reminded him of the fine book by William Massie about the Royal Navy in WWI, "Castles of Steel".)
Good to see the boys looking spritely.
ReplyDeleteHello, pretty parsnip. I love 'Castle in the Sky!'
ReplyDeleteHere's how you 'grab the peep.' Right click on it and choose 'save image,' save it to your desktop and then drop it into your post like you would any other image. If it proves problematic for any reason, don't sweat it.
Thanks so much for signing up -- especially since you'll be sharing your Square Dog Friday spot!
