Monday in Tucson and Christchurch

Tucson
I adore our space aliens cactus

Playing with filters
What is so weird is I have been drawing cactus in wild colors for about 10 years now.
It was before the app trend.

Japanese son is in Christchurch right now for about one month with a class of 25 students.
The University he teaches at has it's own building on campus for the students.
This trip Yuko and Mia came over to spend some time there.
Mia will be in school while she is there.

  2. It'll be so interesting for your son. Maybe you can visit them in NZ. Picture of Hamish and the angry bird made me smile! Have a good week, Parsnip.

    1. He wants us to come over to visit him when he is in NZ. We usually go to Japan to see family and friends.

  4. Your granddaughter is adorable, they do grow so quickly. We were just watching Lord of the Rings and I was thinking how beautiful New Zealand is. But isn't that an even longer flight than to Japan? Give the Hamish a hug for me.

  5. Your grand daughter is a cutie. It is probably good fun for The Hamish to play with Mia, and for her to play with The Hamish. Our Fuzzy Pomeranian loves our grandson. They are good entertainment for each other.

Yuko told me she just walked into class and started working.
She is a world traveler and very gregarious.

Such beautiful cacti--but not as much so as Hamish!
