parley view parsnip...

My Monday post about what is going on around my home... Besides the fact I am still having problems with picasa/blogger. . . . . arghhhhh !
Sunday, the sunlight was making some wonderful shadows on some of my tiles. I used to have my own kiln when I lived in Laguna Beach and designed tiles for kitchens, bathrooms, trays, trivets what ever you wanted. I also made tiles to hang, for a special date.
I really enjoyed working in ceramics and I miss having a workroom with my kiln.
When I moved to Tucson,  I thought about taking some classes at the Junior Collage so I could make what I wanted and use the schools kiln, less mess. If I get more of my mobility back I might try, we shall see.

I love squares and rectangles and I loved these shadows and the designs they made.

Sunday a fast moving storm blew in.  At my home a sprinkling of rain but the wind blew so hard that I thought the trees would fall down.

This set of clouds where to the east of the ones in the photo above. I though this was a very unusual set of billowing rain clouds. All booming thunder, lighting and wind.

As you can see .... Hamish and Watson in the crate could have cared less. They slept through it all.  This is also a hint of their Square Dog post on Friday.... Only if I haven't destroyed my laptop trying to figure out why  picasa/blogger will not work anymore.

  2. Oh Parsnip I do sympathise over blogger/google etc. I have two
photographs sent via Picasa/Google which I wish to put on my blog
and I just cannot open them. I am so frustrated I could scream
so I join your protest! I think those square dogs have the right
    idea.

  3. I use live writer which allows you to add photos into your blog posts and write posts pretty easily. It is free from Microsoft: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-live/essentials-other-programs

    1. Hamish has always burrowed under the pillows, lately he will fold it over. Don't know why he does it but is really cute.
