Goodness I have had an exhausting few days.
And I have the aroooooo x-ray to prove it !
Hopefully I will be back to normal blogging.
Monday = Tucson
Wednesday = life in Japan
Friday= Square Dog Friday

Here is the latest update on thehamish.
.
Here are two of his x-rays.
 Goodness !

 I think we have a problem.

 thehamish in one of his doctors office.
Update
The latest test results.
The three new pills for his liver and gall bladder are working.
All of his levels have dropped substantially.
We have to retake all the tests in a month.
The doctors will have 4 tests results to decide
what course of action we will be taking.
No matter what he will have to have blood test  every month
to track his liver, gall bladder and spleen levels.
That means three new pills added to all the rest he takes.
.
   Here are a few Watson and thehamish photos.
It is good to have a friend you can count on.

  3. Those x-rays look fantastic, great fun this drawing. Good to read that things are going the right direction.
    The two together in pictures look great. Take care and have a good rest after all your caring for the dogs.

  4. That's a fantastic x-rays! Love "engine room" and "super short legs" :-) Glad the new pills are working. The photos of thehamish and Watson together are so sweet. They are really good friends :-)

  5. Love that x-ray especially the tiny feet and exhaust valve...how true is that! Buzzy McDuff is also on a new medication that has resulted in audible side effects that may also cause paint to spontaneously peel off the walls...if you catch my drift.

    So glad you're getting some answers to thehamish's health problems and hope the new pills help to keep him fit as possible. It is true that our old and beloved dogs tend to turn into little money pits don't they? But I know you wouldn't change a thing if it means keeping him here on earth with you as long as possible! Hugs. X

  6. Those two would be absolutely lost without one another wouldn't they? Does sound as though Hamish is a little better.

  7. Poor puppy...too many doctor trips, but it will be worth it to keep 'em healthy.

    Nice illustration - I dig it like a bored beagle.

  11. :-( At least he's very loved. You're getting him the care that he needs. And what about that drawing? That took some talent. I smiled at "funky spleen," even though it's not a good thing...but the wording just made a not-so-fun situation a little lighter.
