I just don't know were this week went ?
One day it was Monday and now it is Friday.
One day it was Monday and now it is Friday.
And here we are again on a Friday a Square Dog Friday.
With thehamish recovering, two major doctor appointments and the week is gone.
We all know the drill so lets woof it.
woof !

.
When you are a Square Dog and you feel bad...
A gud dug cuddle with Watson helps.
thehamish on the poof.

.
i the gud dug thehamish is noy feelin' that gud
boo boo thehamish
woe woe woe oh woe is thehamosh

Watson was taking a nap and I accidently woke him by trying to take a photo.
He is (17) deaf and has dementia but still the most perfect
gud dug ever.
I love this photo because it looks like he is saying
"awwwww nice tall person who feeds us,
put the camera down and step away from the gud dug who was napping"

And now for The Squid Soup, May Trivia Teaser.
Anyone who has signed up for the Mock Squid Soup movie review
for next Friday is invited to post three hints about their film.
My three clues.
* The acclaimed director always has strong female characters.
* Nature vs the modernization but no straight black and white
* There is really no happy ending.
extra clue
* Broke all all attendance numbers.
And just because I can here is your pretty to start the weekend.
I was shooting into the light so the photo has a blur to it.
But the more I look at it the more I like it. Tomorrow I will try another shot.
Early morning sun shinning through a new growth prickly pear pad.
In a few days these new tender pads will grow like crazy and become tough.
Because summer is knocking on the door.
Today it will be 94/65 pool weather !
yeahaww !

dancing . . . parsnip
music. . . Bennie and the Jets, Elton John

They are both such good dogs!
ReplyDeleteyes they are... such gud dugs.
DeleteBeautiful prickly pears. I'm glad thehamish has Watson to cuddle!
ReplyDeleteA favorite cactus of mine.
DeleteI have no idea what your film is...I am stumped. I love your doggie-so cute and needs more sleep. Love the picture!
ReplyDeleteI don't really know yours either.
DeletePrincess Mononoke.
ReplyDeletehahahahahaha I knew you would figure it out.
DeleteWith thehamish being so sick and really sick I pick a movie I knew.
Knowing your enthusiasm for Miyazaki helped, especially with the first clue. Your extra clue clinched it. I was in Japan in '97. I remember the mania.
DeleteI knew you would figure it out.
DeleteAck you were there.I remember reading about all the long lines and mania !
I had another movie picked out that I know no one could have seen.
But I would really have to think about next Fridays post.
With thehamish almost dieing and his recovery .... my brain is not working.
So I picked one I have seen many times.
I'm glad the dog is on the mend.
DeleteOh for a bit of your warm weather over here.
ReplyDeleteI would be happy to send you some if we could have some of your rain.
DeleteSuch good dogs.
ReplyDeleteYes they are !
DeletePretty cactus, sweet little doggies, and a film I totally missed. Great post. I can't wait to see your review next week.
ReplyDeletehahahahahahahahaha I am not the best reviewer.
DeleteI'm so glad to hear thehamish is on the mend.
ReplyDeleteThose cacti are beautiful, but I'm not ready for temperatures in the nineties yet. (I'[m NEVER ready. Thank God for air conditioning!)
Have a super weekend!
I can't live here with out AC.
DeleteI'm stumped...sheesh! I need to work on this.
ReplyDeleteWhen you see the movie you will yell.
DeleteSo fun to see the dogs. They are adorable. And also quite stylish. They know exactly the right way to pose while relaxing.
ReplyDeleteI think they are bored by the camera and Watson always looks away..
DeleteHello Parsnip, indeed time flies. The dogs do look so fredgile. They comfort each other and that must feel good.
ReplyDeleteRegards,
Roos
Time goes by to fast for me.
