Square Dog Friday. . . and so it began

Best day of the week is here.
Square Dog Friday.
.
I found some photos from about 11 years ago of The Square Ones.
They were taken with a disposable camera so they are super dark
and not in focus.
But you can see what a sweet little cutie pie puppy thehamish was.
He was so tiny, when I brought him home he could fit in my hand.
The last puppy in the litter and the smallest one with a kink in his tail.
.....
Napping among the toys and the Scotty cookie jar,
that held doggie cookies for them.
.
thehamish is in their toy basket.
The basket is bigger and he is smaller but
the throw away camera gave this a  funny perspective.

Learning bad habits early, nap time on my bed.
Cute puppy tummy.

 Sleeping on my slippers.

Sunning in my back yard when I lived in Laguna Beach.
I miss this home so much.

  thehamish in Watson basket

 Here they are together

 and nothing has changed.

 Playtime in the back yard.
 thehamish  is so tiny.

Watson is so good to thehamish

Here is your pretty to start the weekend.

  6. He was such an adorable puppy! I used to think if we ever got another dog, I wanted a boxer. Now, slowly but surely, I'm falling in love with your Scotties.and those puppy pictures have convinced me. I want one! (Or two...!) Of course, our spoiled cats may not agree just yet. My hubby, either. After our last dog died, we decided to stick with cats for a while, because with them, we can take off for a couple days with no problem. When we had dogs, we had to worry about boarding them and all that stuff. (sigh) I miss having a dog, but we might as well enjoy having the freedom of being able to get up and go, while we still can.

    Happy weekend!

    1. Dogs are like children and need to be taken care of, more than cats.
But goodness the rewards are worth it.
But I understand the allure of just picking up and zoom off whenever.

      cheers, parsnip

    1. Poor Watson, he looked at this small black object trying to nurse on him and said OH NO !
Watson is just the most mellow dog in the world who makes friends with everyone.
He puts up with a lot from thehamish. But has only gurred and snapped at him twice.
If I was him I would be up to 4 million by now. hahahaha

    1. The photos just bring back so many funny stories.
He was so cute. His Mum was a Scotty and the Dad was a Westie. so he has a small white goatee and a chest hair.
As I understand some of the puppy had white and black spots all over.
