parley view parsnip. . . aliens from outer space

Spring is here and going strong in Tucson.
In fact we are about half way through spring.
Anything that blooms has or will be blooming as much as it can,
before the heat of summer is upon us.
As I said last week my Century plant is going to bloom.
I swear it grows 6 inches a day.
I think it is an Space Alien !

  1. That plant seems to be growing a mile a minute as we say here.
I rather fancy a donut that size.

I am sure she shared it with Mum.

  3. We had a few of those silly century plants in La Quinta and one of them grew about 30 feet high before we decided to cut it down. After that we didn't tolerate them for long because cutting it down is a chore. Doughnut looking mighty yummy.

    1. I love my Century Plants. I had 2 huge ones. Living sculptures.
Now I lost them both. So sad.

  5. Oh my goodness, it's growing like crazy! Maybe it's really a space alien trying to communicate with its buddy living outer space, or trying to go home in the other planet.
Your granddaughter is very pretty as always! What an adorable picture of her eating big doughnut :-)

  6. I've never been able to eat donuts. They always burned the back of my tongue and on the way down. Lucky little granddaughter. Anyway, your green tower really looks alien like with the fog or were those clouds in the background?

    Hugs and chocolate!
